This lion was a whole damn superhero in the lion world. He lived an unprecedentedly long and good life for a lion because he truly had the warrior spirit and fought for everything he had with his brother. His scars are beautiful because they represent all the challenges and victory's he quite literally fought for bravely for almost two decades. He has to be one of the coolest animals who ever lived in modern times.

there is no problem of in breeding...because not all the lioness will mate with him only..they too roam around and sometimes find another male lion with her...and this has happen..some are caught with their pride male mating with other males...it happen most of all prides of lion in the world

The pride is large in numbers so that's a plus for him because the females will help defend the pride. It's amazing at his age he still has any fight left in him, he really is a king. I hope he continues to thrive along with the pride.

Amazing achievement that he lived this long but not good longterm for lions. Inbreeding brings disease & weaker immune system. I wonder what's happening around this park to say there is new lions coming in to take over this pride, be a very easy take over & a lot of lionesses with great water & food supply.

This is one special lion.I hope he survives many more if he feels the way he does.God must have blessed this boy with more then 9 lives.

Loonkito needs to get pushed out of this pride and take a couple sub adult sons with him. I love that this lion is living so long but the inbreeding is not good.
