This phrase can also be translated as "he is a source of knowledge of the Day of Judgment." The question arises here as to what is meant by "he"? According to Hazrat Hasan Basri and Saeed bin Jubayr, this refers to the Quran, i.e., from the Quran one can gain knowledge that the Day of Judgment will come. But this interpretation is completely irrelevant to the context. There is no evidence in the text of the Quran on the basis of which it can be said that the reference is to the Quran. Other commentators are almost unanimously of the opinion that this refers to Hazrat Isa bin Reem, and this is correct in terms of the context. Then the question arises as to in what sense the Prophet is called a sign of the Day of Judgment or a source of knowledge of the Day of Judgment? Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, Ikrimah, Qatadah, Suddi, Dahhak, Abu al-Aaliya and Abu Malik say that this refers to the second coming of Jesus, which has been reported in numerous hadiths, and the meaning of the verse is that when he returns to the world, it will be known that the Hour is near. But despite the greatness of these great men, it is difficult to believe that in this verse the second coming of Jesus is called a sign of the Hour or a source of knowledge of it. This is because the subsequent phrase prevents this meaning. His second coming can only be a source of knowledge of the Hour for those who are present at that time or are born after it. How could he be a source of knowledge for the infidels of Mecca, when it would have been correct to address them and say, “So do not doubt it.” Therefore, in our opinion, the correct interpretation is the one that some other commentators have made, namely that the birth of Jesus without a father, his creation of a bird from clay, and his raising of the dead are considered as evidence for the possibility of the Resurrection. The intention of the divine statement is that a God who can create a child without a father, and a God whose servant can breathe life into a clay statue and bring the dead to life, why do you consider it impossible for Him to bring you and all mankind back to life after death? (Explanation of Syed Madoodi )

Dear Mufti, Salaam. Is Sunnatillah the law of nature? or is it Shariah? or is it ethics? See, the law of nature is not how Allah works, the laws of nature are how Allah's creation works. Hopefully we can see the difference. Now, Sunnatillah is not even Shariah, as Shariah used to change up until our Beloved Prophet came. I found that Sunnatillah is godly ethics. Allah is the sustainer of all worlds, this is His nature, his laws. This is neither the laws of nature nor the laws of Shariah. He is Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem, the Utmost Merciful yet the Utmost Just- that's Sunnatillah. No, these are not merely Asma', these are the Sifaat. He was as sustainer and merciful and compassionate and just with the tribe of Adam as he is towards the ummah of our Beloved Prophet and the generations coming. So, `Allah's Sunnah does not change' by this verse some aalims mean Shariah and you mean the laws of nature, but it's neither how we should follow the rules nor how the creation follows the rules. It's how Allah follow his own rules applied to his decisions, not the other set of rules applied to the muminun neither the other set of rules applied to the matters and particles of this universe. Here his asma and sifaat and sunnah differs from his creations and his believers. So, Allah did not make Shariah mandatory upon himself, nor he made laws of physics mandatory upon himself rather, he has a set of ethics and as the only God, he must be ethical towards everything equally regardless of time and space otherwise His Lordship's dignity and sanctity gets violated. Allah and His Messenger knows the best.

How are we going to be sure we were asked this by God? You see all these beliefs are constructed by people from their cultural beliefs trying to ascribe it to a God. All these are fallacies. People of beliefs of The unseen invented it out of smartness, that let's fear them with a consequences after death and they'll submit to us . They're saying there's this and that after death and I'm asking that there's no one who died came back and affirmed life after death. It's the same as when we were born to this earth we were never told this is how life will happen to us on our stay on earth. Why did The so called God did not make it in a way that we remember what happened to us before we were born but is now trying to tell us what may happen to us after death?

Mufti, Salaam. You said that you read the comments. So, I write to you. I had known you for years, and I started seriously listening to you 3/4 days ago. I've completed all of the `Responding to Refutations', `clarifying false hadiths that insult Islam', `amigo-enemigo sunni shia', `bukhari gate', and `reason vs relealation (almost)' . I've listened to several other hours of your videos. See, I'm gobbling things up. Brother, there are miracles. I've seen hundreds of people who can close their eyes and can find out the whereabouts and change things in others' bodies and minds- in a positive way. I've seen it happening many, many times. Miracles are there, yes, there can be reasons behind miracles, but miracles are there. I'ts abundant. How amazing it would be, if you also got it in your realization! How amazing it would be, if you could close your eyes and see those things and redesign your whole reason realization in that light! Brother, I think you almost clearly ignored quran in at least one occasion which is supposed to be kufr, I'm not saying that you are one. I rather think reason led to this disastrous conclusion. Reason does not lead to kufr, reliance upon reason defying quran can lead there. Wish you and your family a superb happy life and an afterlife as well. I think I would try to be your student in classical ilmi studies if I had a chance. How amazing it would be to learn from you, a true brave man, in drastically different lights!

Mutazila were the pioneers of rational and reasoning in Islam. If Mustazila were allowed to flourish Islamic civilization would have the one to introduce modern scientific revolution. Because they believe in acquiring knowledge beyond theology. Sunni Islam is Hadeeth based Islam which believes in more traditional Islam. Mutazila believed Hadeeth is unreliable to accept it as equal to Quran. Hadeethi Imam ibn handball put Islam on the wrong track to the extent at one Point Imam Shafi Said Hadeeth should be the foundation of Islamic system not Quran.

Sheikh I love the positive vibes but what's our Purpose in life? Many people had their subjective answers to this but as Muslims, i believe it is central to every decision we take in our life that we must remember the purpose of why we are here? I enjoyed your perspective on the narration as i am suffering from HypnoGagic Sleep paralysis and other neurological issues, And i needed some positive vibes, But Don't you think a literal alarm of emergency should be Ringing in everyone's ear now, We are here to fulfill a Duty by our Lord and we are incredibly incompetent for it? Idk what's your opinion of late Dr israr r.h but one of his quote always jolt me, That "How can a muslim man sleep peacefully while Allah's Deen is not established or Injustices happen in this world, yet we knowingly ignore that" Idk if its my anxiety speaking to me, Or A REMINDER for Amr bill ma'aroof wa nahiyya Anil Munkir Just a thought, Jazak Allah kheiran

In Al Kahf Allah Azwajal says believers will have bracelets of gold and silk garments. That is more than sufficient for everyone because it is from Allah Azwajal. It is Allah Azwajal only who makes halal and haram. Allah swt never has a change in His Ways, -so forbidding gold/pork on 🌎 but having it permissible in Jannah would be suggesting Allah swt is changing His ways. Just like homosexuality is wrong here it’s wrong in Jannah. If gold is permissible in Jannah; it has to be permissible here too
