Another excellent video Josep thanks, the slow mo footage clearly shows each step and breaks it down to make it look so easy! Nice one.

Hi Josep, I bought a Salt Pro 5.6 and after I use the factory recommendation settings and give it max Downhaul to it, Still the battens are sitting one side of the must when you try to flip it. It's not rotating. Is this happening to your sail also? Thanks
@josepe203
@josepe203 2 ай бұрын
Hi . Here you can see how i rig my sails. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4ezcmiMhL6srNksi=2pjd6S7uxs6oEfhO But yes always the battens touch the mast, if not you don't have enough shape. I like to have more shape to have more power and a reactive sail.

Being a 100kg would love to try that 110l board, the shape is interesting. When you say flatter, is that less rocker.
@josepe203

How to avoid spinout on wave-board? Move your body more foreard and not add much pressure to the back foot. But whst about board leading? Should it always stay flat or a bit on the rail? Thanks for answering! ))

Love the video and airbrush and board technique explanation Josep. Hope to come test someday Please explain more on tail width and one foof off, since you used to sail i99 style pro wave with very wide tail. Like the board on your left Cheers
@josepe203
@josepe203 2 ай бұрын
Hi, yes. You are well come to come to Pozo Izquierdo to test the boards. Normally the designe starts from the center width, and one foot tail. Then the noose width is determinated from the combination of booth width and the outline line you want. Is really complicate to explain sum up in a few words. But to give you an idea the board works because the combination of rocker line and bottom shape, outline and rails. All designed to have and specific performance.

I don’t like to much down haul tension. The sail gets to flat and then you don’t have power .

Thanks for the video. Can I ask you a quick question? What twin fin size would you use on a 87L for 4.0 to 5.0? I have a Pyro. They recommend 2x15cm. I tried but I find it really too small. I can hardly go in a straight line at all. Thanks a lot.
@josepe203
@josepe203 3 ай бұрын
It depends on the type of fins too. I think 16 would be better. Try to play with the placement of the fins , move it a bit more back . 5mm for example

You can also tuck the mast extension in the sail roll by the masts. Probably a bit neater than the boom clamp or the footstraps.
