When I saw a vest I thought it's a German video but no... this is the 'wrong' type of a vest. German woodworkers have shorter vests with 8 huge buttons.
@AtelierMateus16 күн бұрын
For us it feels like the right type of Vest 😍 we have worked with German internships before and gotta say that the woodworking tradicional belt/trousers are very nice

A transfer punch would be better than a drill bit to get those internal hole centers. Nice work though.

Thank you! Piher, Spanish brand if I’m not mistaken. They sell on Amazon Spain and Dictum. Very good clamps for the right task, they’re heavy.

Espero haber ayudado !!!!

Can I say how refreshing it is to see a left-handed craftsperson. I am 70 and left-handed. The world is designed by and for right-handers. Watching right-handers work is at best 'uncomfortable' for lefties. Bravo Teresa.

Nice skill! Is see my question is answered already. I found the Veritas dowell maker online but the smallest size is 9.5mm. Which size is see using and what size hole does she drill?
@AtelierMateus27 күн бұрын
Thank you! Both holes are 9.5mm for 9.5mm dowels, the one on the tenon is offset 1.5mm towards the shoulder to create the locking mechanism. Because of this it will be hard to push it inside, we use paraffin or oil on the dowel tip before hammering it in.

I haven’t seen a router plane you can take that part off, mine are both Stanley planes a 71 and a 271
@AtelierMateusАй бұрын
It’s great to be able to sharpen it without the steel arm. It’s from Veritas tools, I believe Dictum in Germany also produces a similar model
@dusty7264Ай бұрын
Do you offset the holes slightly so they pull the joint together, we do in Timber Framing. Looks good to me

@ Gardening isn’t a man made craft. It’s management of natural things. You don’t "make" flowers. You help them become more visible.
