Beautiful work! Glad your channel popped up in my feed :) I just have one question, what is that window in the bottom left corner and how is the main canvas not affected by the zooming and rotating?

Hey, thanks a lot <3 It's just a window setup i use in OBS. I have one window of the file on my big main monitor and one on my graphics tablet. In OBS, i just splice those together to make it look nice. To create a second window of a file in Photoshop, you can use Window > Arrange > New Window and drag it to a different monitor. This way it's waaay easier to follow this bigger non-moving window than my tablet screen in timelapses. For flipping the canvas, i'm using View > Flip Horizontal instead of the regular canvas flipping. Just flipping the view is instant, while the regular method literally flips every single layer you have - which is super slow.

I truly wish I had the perseverance to become as good as you, my bamboo tablet is just collecting dust and all I can do is lineart. You make some extraordinarily beautiful pieces! I'm a bit jealous 😅

Hey, the Bamboo also was my first tablet! :D The key to art is finding out what you love to draw. Try stuff out and allow yourself to fail while doing so. Something will eventually stick and kindle your passion~

Note: My editing software seems to have switched up a few of the many files for this, which i didn't catch until now. The one big weed appearing at 5:16 (on the right) should be placed after i actually painted it at 5:23. Sorry for letting that one slip 🥲

WHAT. I was watching the lineart and I was like "okay i maybe could do that with enough practice", then the rendering came and i was like "Never mind :D" Ive been drawing dragons for a couple years myself and im like nowhere near as good lol 😂 how you do this is beyond me, i want to get to your level someday

Thank you <3 Well, persistence is key! My process still entails a *lot* of throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. It just looks kinda straight forward at the speed of this timelapse :'D

I am in fucking love with your art. Beyond just the technical skill in using the program, knowing how to use the layers and the lighting and all that shit that forever eludes me, I love your compositions, I love the poses your characters are in, always so fluid and natural, I love their environment and how they truly fit in it, how they’re interacting with it, I love the character design and everything, I love everything

Thank you so much ❤ My process still is based on a lot of trial and error - on the technical and artistic side. That's why i'm always trying to push myself more with each piece to find the one that works best for me :D

This is fantastic work. I love the deep color saturation, and the way you use light sourcing here. The way the light starts to filter in from the background makes a really dramatic impact.
