Is there a way to do that with a mesh of a private place so it can recognize it and place precisely AR elements around it? Unfortunately this tutorial can't be used anymore as we can't create A-Frame based projects anymore.

The title of the video says "drag and drop" but it does not cover how to drag and drop the objects you place in the scene like the cactus, piano, and army guy. How might you do that?

Click+hold the object's name within Assets, and drag that over into the Viewport!

at 1:51 I am pretty sure the first keyframe is on the first frame of the timeline, which is 1, not 0. Should we do as he says or do as he does? Furthermore, there is no keyframe on the last frame of the timeline on screen.

This is a joy, we need more smart games like this! The a.i. system makes this thing unpredictable and new everytime I join and everytime I LEARN SOMETHING NEW! I'm here looking for a list of their games on vr games made by the same people to play but I can not seem to find any. Was this the only VR game?

I'm a big fan on the software so far but tbh I found this workshop slightly disappointing - copy and pasting code doesn't really help me learn especially when it's into scripts that already do something. It's fun to make a working prototype but it would be great if we went even more simple! Just a bare bones project and learn how to detect a tap etc etc

Thank you for the tutorial. I tried adding my own .glb file and am able to get it working in the simulator, but when I publish it reverts back to the cactus, even if I delete the cactus from the entire project. Am I missing something?

For future workshops, just let the presenter get on with their job and don't keep undermining them. We don't need to know that people have left, for example. Apart from that, a great session!

my gltf file works fine on 3d face, but doesn't appear properly on real face. it removes some material

What if I want the piano to spawn only once, and the next time I tap I want another object to spawn in?

The piano spawn point is at the center of the object and when you create the pianos they are in the middle of the ground. Is there a way to offset?

I attempted to put the object in an empty entity to position the piano pivot at the bottom but that would break instantiation.

Which language should I learn in order to use 8thwall? I see you using javascript (.js) while other video was using typescript (.ts). Is there a recommendation for certain cases?

This engine is amazing and quite intuitive! For an additional quality of life improvement to the Studio experience, perhaps add more traditional game dev engine (ie Unity3D, Unreal) functionalities. One basic feature comes to mind where it's slot-based pointer reference for game objects in the scene, the game object being referenced can be drag-and-dropped and plugged-in to the referencer slot. The best example for this use-case would be in relation to the creation & referencing of the of score game object ui element and the game manager game object being a drop-down list instead of being able to be dragged into a slot on the Game Manager game object. My experience is that, as the project scales, it tends to become annoying to develop with large drop lists without any fast & efficient way to reference and/or find items like an search bar.
