FANTASTIC video Buddy. My Tundra V2 is an old one with over 600 recorded flights on it. Beat to hell, but still a go to airplane for those right conditions. So nice that the fresh snow turns any old raggedy lot into a beautiful landing strip.

Hi Chris, another awesome video as usual. I’m always checking out your videos. I have another question for you. I just recently purchased a T rex Rex 470 L and I wanna put it in a scale fuselage. Should I just be looking at the 470 size or 500 size What do you think and what do you think would be the easiest conversion with what kind of fuselage you recommend thanks as always.

I would fire the painter! I can't believe they got the back of the last yellow stripe crooked! C.MON ROBAN that's just lac of attention! Probably on the cell phone at the same time he painted it. And the tail isn't painted correct either! the lines are off and not parallel and the bottom of the yellow stripe starts at the "point" of the vertical fin and and not below it! That just looks like, well nevermind I can't say that on here. If your going to model a semi scale to replicate a real paint job then you really need to get it right "roban" Besides that, Thanks for posting your video's Chris. She is a nice heli along with the 700's and 8's.
You didn’t show how you actually put the front grips on using the tape.

Jebus, that thing climbs out better than my E-Fite Timber X. I love backyard STOL flying. My favorite is to hit the trails near the lake and punch out between the opening of the trees over the lanke then try to fly back in through the small gap back to land. Has taken a swim a few times, lol.

Chris, want to explore 3d planes. My skill right now is intermediate. Can do loops, rolls, fly inverted low, cuban 8s etc. Would you get a Crack Yak 32 or the XL. I like the XL and have the budget for both but cant decide. The XL seems like it would handle wind much better but the 32 would handle the crashes of a novice 3d pilot. Could a novice 3d guy fly the XL and learn on it or should I start with a 32" crack yak...?
@crmodelsАй бұрын
If you have the budget get the XL! With the true airfoil it flies more like a bigger balsa 3D plane. Also 3s is plenty of power.

Chris i just recently got a twisted hobbys crack yak mini,I'm not getting equal amount of throws on my control surfaces, for a example I'm getting 40 % up elevator and 25% down elevator i have the servo centered and my endpoints are set at 100 up and 100 down, so do I need to raise my endpoints so I will get 50% up and down so the elevator will be equal?, thanks for the help Chris.

@@bg45689 I set my travel end points to whatever they need to be to get full deflection in all directions on all control surfaces. Then set my rates to bank 1 60%, bank 2 80% and bank 3 100%. I don’t use gauges I do it all my eye and feel.
