I have the 718 turbo one also, and I prefer it to the 4.0 6 cilindres. And I know this engine as I have also a Infiniti 3.7 V6

Yes this is street legal. They have a bunch of options though if you need to quiet it down.

That's a SWEET Porsche! I love the color combination with the contrasting gold wheels. I would have spec'd out the same color combo myself!. And those hydrophobics are insane! Gtechniq has always made top notch detailing products.

Sorry for the late reply brother. The clutch engagement is weird on these 718's from the factory. It's almost all the way up to the release point. It's literally the only complaint I have with this platform. I have not driven a GT4 however but from what I've heard it's perfect.

I love the exhaust. There's definitely drone when in sport mode. But with it off which I never do lol it's good. The turbo in these quiet it down quite a bit

I hate 4 cylinders but because this is a boxer engine it's doable and this one sounds really good actualy with this exhaust.

Sounds great. I noticed a pattern with Porsche H4 haters. It's always the ones that have never owned, nor can afford to own even a base 718 that complains and moans about the sound these cars make.

Your way of thinking also doesnt make a lot of sense. So you have to be able to afford something in order to have the right to not like it? I dont like the exterior design of the chiron, even though i would never be driving one probably. Also, i would rather buy a 997 with the F6 than go with the F4 cayman

Wrong, but it is a nice way of dismissing people's disappointment in Porsche going away from the NA Flat-6. Same with the long gearing, it isn't just haters, it's a legit complaint.

@@Scorpio1075 99 percent of these people complaining are just complaining to complain, these are probably also the ones complaining about a sick car but dismiss it because it ain't a manuaaaaaaaaaaaaaal. Just because it sounds different doesn't mean it sounds bad, I personally love the sound of the flat 4, ok I have one but I already thought they sounded nice before I had one. I wouldnt wanna change it for the world, the sound, the go. A NA flat six gts or gt4 981 is all sound and no go, slow as fuck, maybe thats the reason the are all so butthurt.

This sounds great thanks for the vid. Just picked up a 19 GTS and was worried I'd have to start messing with the DP options (which is a pain in my state) to get some nice turbo sounds, but this sounds like the ticket and not super expensive like some of the other options.

I just went the the custom tune process with Ed @EQT and it's ridiculous now. 400 whp on pump 93 and 430 on E30

even though it’s a 2.5T Porsche still made it sound like the nasty 2.5 out there, sounds way better than an Audi exhaust. 981 S and GTS Cayman/Boxster is one of the best sounding Porsche. Bit bias since I own one haha 😂 still great car, I driven 718 S and GTS, I wouldn’t be upset if I owned either.
