I have a wooting and I didn’t like the original switches it came with (they felt heavy to press down on and fatigued my fingers really quick) so I bought the lekker45s like 2 days after which I found way better. You said the force is noticeable more on the switches on this keyboard. What did you mean by that? I really want to get this keyboard but I wana make sure I get the right switches and not make the mistake I made with the wooting 😊

maya 8k and maya x is the same performance. The original maya that doesn't come with the 8k dongle has the last gen sensor and mechanical switches rather than opticals on the maya 8k and maya x

Overpriced and not really has something to brag about. Jonsbo D31 will do everything + give you a screen at the front and ability to fit 4-5 case fans for half the price.

You do realize how much bigger the Jonsbo D31 is compared to this one? It is basically the same size as this asus ap201 I compare ot to. Of course it can fit more fans because it’s a mATX case.

it's more responsive and has the same bells and whistles as wooting. Wooting focuses on the stability but nuphy offers a finer grade control over rapid trigger sensitivity and deadzones. Not saying Wooting is bad but just different principles.

Out of the box, if I would not own any other HE board. I would buy this. This gives me: 1. Performance 2. Looks 3. Feel (Cherry Keycaps with GMK-isch prints which was the main draw back for other models, decent HE switches) 4. Modability (Foams etc. inside) 6. Upgradeability (maybe soon ALU bottom?, nuphy releases often things for existing products) 7. Yet to beat price BONUS: Wrist rest

I just got this mouse today to replace my Viper pro V2, the scroll wheel died on that mouse (scrolled the opposite ways all the time). Apparently this one now uses optical and dust proof encoder so crossing my finger on that. I stopped / rarely play competitive games nowadays though, so what I am doing is I put the desktop polling rate at 500 to conserve even more power (I can't even tell anyway), and put the in game at 1k hz. I will most likely just create a profile when I start playing specific FPS games that would benefit from higher polling rate, so that when synapse detects the .exe, it will just auto switch profile to 2 or 4k hz. Based on my research, my rig is good enough to benefit for 2k hz, though not sure about 4k hz (I have a 4k 240hz monitor and a 4090.

Sounds good! I think it could benefit from 4k as well, but ofc the jump from 2k to 4k is not as drastic. Try how it performs :) it’s a fantastic mouse, one of the best this year

@@jerrorr Oh yeah the shape is a huge improvement vs the previous vipers, though I did have mix feeling with how less aggressive it looks when it was first got announced months ago. It was for the better though as it gave really nice stability to the main 2 buttons. I do a hybrid fingertip / palm grip too so the bigger hump at the back really helps.
