Awesome video, what level was this?
@nirvanakruger20 күн бұрын
This was something around 1.2, at least when we go on

@ ah high AF then 🤣
@nirvanakruger19 күн бұрын
Id say the best level, higher becomes big and you can't run the top drop, lower you have to rush or you'll be grinding down rocks later on

Hello! I weigh 170 pounds (77 kg) and am 175 cm tall. Will the pyranha FIRECRACKER 232 suit me? My friend's experience tells me that 242 is too big. I rode in 232 in the pool - it is comfortable for me.
@nirvanakruger27 күн бұрын
Definitely go with your instincts but I would say it depends on what your main goal is with it. If you really want to play around on eddylines then get the 232 if you're looking for a mix of river running and play then maybe the 242 would be good. With your weight you should be fine in both. Hope this helps

That hand slip at 3:15 could have not come at a worse spot it totally stole your pull stroke. Maybe consider dropping some tape at least on that right hand grip. Great video mate!
@nirvanakruger29 күн бұрын
Totally dude, I don't even know how it slipped. First thing I did when I got home was get some grippy tape hahaha

Excellent stuff. Brought back many great memories. On a side note, Terry Storry and I first paddled down this in Spring 1984, on what we be firmly believed at the time to be the first descent. We paddled virtually everything on sight, apart from Rhaeadr Mawddach. Terry and I couldn't believe it when Phil Blain and Mel Griffiths successfully ran the fall just a few months later. Definitely a young person's sport. Enjoy it while you can. 😊
