These are the races that we all remember, that we all talk about years after. it is the battle that makes motorcycle racing memorable. It's personalities that clash, then cheer, pump fists in the air, stake champaign on each other and everyone else. I return to you channel, only to learn yxxtuxx is being deez

From a distance the motorcycle bodies look like helicopters. or airplanes. Without CAD/CAM design and machining, computers and everything else, it looks like he copied aircraft because they're aerodynamic. It makes sense, but to even come up with the idea in the first place, and hammer them out by hand, was very clever.

To just call Senna a bad driver by just analysing one part of his technique is quite disingenuous. Not to mention the cars of that time were very different to the ones we have now. That’s without even being up the fact you haven’t defined what makes him a bad driver per se…..

This is a great video, thank you so much. One technique I would really like to see mentioned is gearing down during braking. I have noticed in your videos on track that most of the time they drop down gears almost at the same time the braking starts. Please correct me if im wrong? On track Im braking, shutting off the throttle and gearing down, almost at the same time. Is this ok or is their some technique used when to gear down?

You are analyzing very well! Makes me aware that the pro rider is doing so many small things that add up to a great difference in making better lap times. Thank you for your input, and best wishes to your progress!

Herbert James "Burt" Munro (Bert in his youth; 25 March 1899 - 6 January 1978) was a motorcycle racer from New Zealand, famous for setting an under-1,000 cc world record, at Bonneville, on 26 August 1967.[2] This record still stands; Munro was 68 and was riding a 47-year-old machine when he set his last record. Crazy his record still stands today on a home made bike

The reason is that by stamping the throttle the rear squads down allowing Ayrton to keep a higher speed but made the car more unstable which he could easily handle. It isnt bad technique it is genius thats why he is a 3 time Formula 1 world champion and seen by most drivers in Formula 1 as the greatest racing driver ever to exist. The fact you have no idea why shows why there are different levels you just dont understand racing anywhere near the level of Formula 1 drivers.

As long as you line up the valve stem with the tire mark for the valve stem, balancing your rim to compensate for your valve stem, then rebalancing again for the tire manufactureres weight compensation, will have you putting on weight only to remove it.... Or worse, putting weight on the opposite side. In any case during tires life or "wear" this will change anyway.

Seems like an insanely dangerous and unnecessary technique for street riding or any rider other than the highly experienced on a bike with extremely precise throttle control on a track. Interesting how it doesn't make much sense geometrically. Common knowledge says more speed equals increased radius. Extremely high level I'd think.. I've only been riding for 6 months.

Another place on track to use this knowledge is entering the straight. For the first two upshifts, for example, you can short shift while putting the bike into a slow weave (not a sharp lean). You see MotoGP riders and Superbike riders doing this. I think one reason they do is to more quickly raise the RPMs to reach the best part of the powerband for each gear.

It was to limit the weight chang and increase equal weight distribution around the car increasing grip and overall speed through a corner
@crossious4474Ай бұрын
Holy shit you actually went there. He was the best of his generation. No matter what he did with the throttle. You’re not fit to wipe his visor.
@bmxriderforlife1234Ай бұрын
Lol if yall cant tell why he was doing it then you cant judge. Everyone forgets hed also slide the car at times more then some others. And turn and brake layer then many. Overtsteer but also test the tires and set up for a powerslide if he was a lil too far on the edge. If he was too far on the edge he could immediately start modulation differently to gain traction faster but also steer the car like a cart. Think about it like this. There are times you can go faster by drifting a lil bit. Because you dont have the traction or downforce or potentially even the load capacity in the tires. F1 tires wear faster. Its constantly keeping measurements of acrive grip aavailable. And available torque traction limit. Can also be used with shifting gears to sorta do a ghetto torque fill. Its the same way as going flat out into corners and then if need be clutch kicking or other tricks to turn it into a slide versus a grip. And relates to getting carts to turn. Hes just driving the car harder then most and setting up to drive it harder.

Why don't we have to invent a new tyre, that could deform into slick tyre when asphalt is try, and deform into grooved tyre when it is rainy, may be that led to less consumption of time, is it possible🤔

@girthquake1190Ай бұрын
way too fast really to react but if you ever can you are best off just riding out the traction loss and either low siding or getting very lucky with a large amount of skill and manage to drift out of it

He did the throttle blip very shortly so the center of gravity doesnt know where to go and he only does it on corners to be caster than pther drivers
