Change the title to I don’t care and it could be the Republican national anthem.

Probably my Favorite. Met him in his home area, Faversham, Kent. I just smiled and brought something small to remember the moment. Just smiled, Thanks Bob

I will never understand how this song wasn't a massive hit. Bob Geldof had a high-profile because of Live Aid, and this song seemed to have all of the elements to be a huge breakthrough for him. And then... It wasn't. I can't figure out why. The song still holds up well today.

I just discovered it. It’s timeless. He is a real talent and there’s almost no mention of his music on the internet, completely overshadowed by the Live Aid and other charity stuff. It’s a shame because he’s a wonderful songwriter from what little I’ve heard so far.

Great cinematography from the late Derek Jarman who also filmed Geldorf's I Cry, too along with the Pet Shop Boy's music videos. Many of his film were made with a cheap 8mm camera.

My DM may be fascinated by the fact that he’s such a hug hit in England, but that by me living in Detroit area, that I barely knew who he is. I wasn’t impressed by his huge personality or his huge ego. He somehow found one gal on this planet Earth who literally had no idea “who he is” so I then had “the nerve” to set some boundaries with him…and let him know, “Hey, I’m valuable too & not because of the amount of money I make. God needed him to learn that in the whole scheme of things, that making lots of money isn’t where “it’s at”…that trying to be a good person is “where it’s at”!
