Hello, may you speak about crazing (hairline cracks) in terms of how common it is for the 2961? Thank you

I really hate the GS logo but damn this case design is so modern classic and it loves light play. Even that quartz tick is smooth. It smashes any other quartz

at 1:08 mark you remove crown but your hand is in the way:(

GS, like any mechanical watches, won’t consistently hit the makers on either side of the dial but they DO generally hit perfectly between 10 ~ 2 . . . I myself own the Tough Quartz SBGX341 and I almost went mad in Tokyo finding the piece with PERFECT alignment . . . In the end there was always a small degree of compromise so I just set out to find the one where 10 ~ 2 hit closely with 12 hitting _perfectly . . ._ I plan on picking up a 265 for my daily beater . . . Considering having a GS-affiliated jeweler remove the second hand to afford the piece a less hurried mien but . . . Not sure I could bring myself to do so 😅

To my opinion the watch is poor design, if they put the letter GS on the top and the Grand Seiko letter on the bottom at number 6 would be nice it’s just look empty
@Leston5058 ай бұрын
Previous versions had “Seiko” at the top and “grand seiko” was written on the bottom half, I prefer it for the symmetry

Debating between this and the black dial. Thanks for sharing.
why there are no smooth sweep in quartz watch? just like in seiko wall clocks
@thaibinh190911 ай бұрын
Energy consumption to make a smooth sweeping second hand. Wall clocks don’t have to worry about energy, their batteries are huge compared to wristwatches.
