Thanks a lot for showing the cards. I guess I still can't decide if this deck can offer something, that my collection can't do. The case is similar for the Citadel Oracle ... (and maybe I don't purchase that one, because it would be the death blow for the Wild Unknown Archetypes). The archetype deck I use ... is an uncommon one, because it's not actually meant to be used as such. It's the D&D: Curse of Stradh - Tarokka Deck. Back then it was a quite inexpensive purchase and it was kind of an experiment. One that went ... a bit too well ... in a way. The deck is strongest, when used as roles or approaches. Some other decks - especially The Celtic Wisdom Tarot - are also able to catch some archetypical energies ... The Wild Unknown ... offers ... some classic gendered archetypes, which is both a blessing and a burden for the deck - we're living in a heavily gendered and sexist world, after all. It may deepen or lead astray a reading. Gendered issues are barely neutral and the deck just includes them. The respective cards are just in the mix. They are neither quite important nor unimportant. The deck however seems particularly strong, when it comes to spaces: the river, the village, the empty room, the faultline, the bridge, the box, the dead end. Some "things cards", the medallion and the venom, are also exceptional cards. Other great cards seem to be: The animal (especially with that picture), the comic and the one. ...

They also have bonus content from the creators! I just realized that. The QR code in the back leads you to a website where you can sign up via email for bonus content for each deck!!! It’s amazing! Like it’s multiple documents, bonus spreads, journals, recipes and more. The creators of the decks are just so wonderful and incredibly giving. I’m in just awe!

Beautiful deck, I was on fence on getting it, but I really like it. My favourite is still the Rose oracle. I don't like these boxes either, the lid gets loose after a couple of uses. I decided to keep my cards in fabric pouches.

I have them. But as in the angel messenger net, why there's no soul mate and synchronicity cards included like the online ones? However there was an empty single card in the box and I'll use it for both whenever it pops out

Yeah. Look under the sticker. The ink on the cards has got ink that has cancer causing properties. They had to put it on the box so they put a sticker on it so they could sell them.. Sorry but I’m neuro divergent I don’t miss anything. It’s a bit annoying for me sometimes because I find shit I don’t want to see. But felt it only right to let you know. Hugs 🤗 Rita

I know this video is several years old now, but I thought I'd comment since there's another Jane Austen oracle deck coming out later this year (2024), which I'm excited to see. I agree with you on the dilemma over using this as a tarot. I was thinking of a way to shuffle that could let you know which way to read the cards that share a Minor/Major meaning, but then it struck me that you'd never have a reading with both of those cards at the same time, which is irksome! I don't think they should double them up like this (this publisher did the same thing with The Illuminated Tarot). I may get this and use it some other way, such as reading them as playing card divination instead. They really are lovely, though. Thanks for the flip-through! Do you use this deck much, and are you interested in the upcoming oracle?

I was under the impression that the First edition box was a two part box with the finger cut out on the side like the 2nd edition.... was this a different printing for the first edition?
