I had no idea this was a competitive lift! Thanks for the breakdown. I've done a similar movement to warm up, but I did jerks instead of a strict press or push press. Are these a competitive event in BOLT? Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi! Thanks for your note. This is not a traditional kettlebell lift in BOLT or elsewhere. This is the final lift in the 8 lift, 10 minute July challenge through KettlebellEvents.com. Let us know if you have any more questions 🙌

@@KettlebellEventsDotCom I just wonder how much weight those straps and bar can hold. I have a kettlebell that is 200lbs

@@KettlebellEventsDotCom not bad. Doesn't look like I can use my heaviest bells with it. But that's still good.

So you have a backpack that can carry 22 lb? Every single one of my backpacking backpacks can do the same. .... The more you know. 👍

The suggested max size kettlebell from their website is 28kg. The backpack is retrofitted to secure a kettlebell while hiking over uneven terrain and to keep it from digging into your back.

@@KettlebellEventsDotCom My ospreys fairpoint, Atmos and volt can hold 50lb load out completely comfortably, Air mesh away from back prevents sweating, and extremely comfortable hip belt distributes weight away from your back. I'm sorry if you're trying to sell these kettlebell specific backpacks.

Kettlebell Kings are high quality. They have a good surface for grip without being abrasive. My one complaint is that their handles are too narrow for comfortable double handed grips, at least through the 70#s. My pinkies are there for the ride, but don't really participate. Who doesn't start kb training with anything less than 50#s? 🤣 Curls for girls. Beyond the balance and stability of kb training, I think there is something to do exercises that you can get into a rhythm with. Kelbow. The root may be the neck or lack of range of motion. That is fascinating.
