Phrasal verbs seem to be quite tricky. Sometimes I feel a frustration when I study them.

In South Africa if I fall or trip through no ones fault African people will express concern by saying sorry. I wonder if thus is an archaic use of sorry brought from England centuries ago

What's the word for 'Sorry' in your language? Can you use it in lots of situations and is it overused?
@maryhernandez3804

It varies in Spanish, when it's for daily life situations on the street, like nothing too serious we could say 'Disculpa' or more formal 'Disculpe'... If we're apologising with a friend or for something more important we would say 'Lo siento' or 'Perdóname'... I like your voice, thank you for sharing and for the book recommendation! It was very interesting.

Getting extra CHICKEN for free ! Lovely jubbly! That's blessing in disguise ! I would certainly not complain if I were you, I would ask for doggy bag instead and keep that chicken for Gizmo. That's turned up for the books, right? 😀
