St Stephens holds special memories for me. For a few weekends in 1999, I was invited to sing with the choir. James Busby was my vocal professor's former coach. She created the introduction. I was terrified of screwing up because i only had a few days to learn my parts (counter tenor/alto). I remember that we sang Byrd Mass for 5 voices and Stephen Being Full of Grace by Tomkins. I can't remember the other weeks. It went by too fast and I was scared all the time lol. It was such a rewarding experience. I was only home for Christmas so it wasn't something I could continue but those two weeks were by far my favorite memories from college and music in general. It makes me glad that all these years later, St Stephens is still performing sacred works by masters.

Wow. Wow wow wow! Not only have you played the great Æolian Skinner at my current parish Church of the Advent Boston, but also the Austin at S. Stephen’s Providence! I was master of ceremonies there during my senior year at Brown! I am so subscribed to your channel now, wow me again always. One request: do you know BuxWV150? It’s a fave 😊

Hi, I know of BuxWV 150 but don't play it unfortunately. But maybe in the future though! We should connect - feel free to email me at the address found in the Brown directory.

@@justinlee8350 Someday we’ll connect! I’ve loved classic church music all my life. Former lay chorister and precentor at Advent Boston and St George’s Nashville as well.
