Yes, you can identify an I c in every phone panel, first you needs to understand that not every component you see on the panel is IC. Some are resistor, diode, transistor and the IC, some time, engineer do call all refers all these electronic components as generally ic, but that is not true... So coming to your question, IC are those black black (4 corner shape) you see on phone panel, they are the ones refers to as IC, but those tiny tiny ones, it can either be a restore, diode or transistor, Transistor in the other hand look some how like an ic, they black and has three output pins.. So get a dead panel and try to and identify anyone

Just try and locate the settings, and look for CARRIER FEATURES option, and then select any of the SIM that have the issue and you are good to go

It seems you used reworked station but even at that, you have to use your multimeter to do some tracing. Maxfone panel is very light and once the mic has been affected, I don't too muchly suffer myself rather I will recommend the customer to do panel replacement, to save time
