This is only for repairs in the field. Not to build them in a factory. Sometimes plates are missed and or peel back. And getting engineer letters to fix with osb or 2x can add up cost wise including: engineer letter, material, backcharges for moving water lines/wires/gas lines, and labor.

Its a joke or what?
@deankay44343 жыл бұрын
Just a $3,500 joke. It looks like my 20 ton log-splitter with adaptors welded to fit, but not droopy. It think it need an up-down switch, not a fall down switch when not held! Plus my log-splitter has 50 MPH wheels and runs on gas, not a 240 Vac cord for hydraulic pump in box, motor, contacts, cord, switch, hoses and gigantic “C” clamp with unsized plate. Why not do both sides at the same time? Oh, I forgot, it droops. Fix that an put magnets in each corner to hold plates until stuck on first pass. Lots of room for improvement before they can sell many!

@@deankay4434 I agree whole-heartedly. This is certainly not a product worthy of that Price Tag. Even if they resolved every single one of the design flaws you mentioned, (and so many others mentioned), I don't think they have a product worthy of that price. But there you have it......in True Mitek fashion.....its another "chunk of steel" that they want GOLD prices for.

Loving these videos thank you very much. Can you do an indepth video on strap connections please. Specifically top plate connections. Alot of builders dont understand loaded dimensions and wind loading so they consistently under connect top plates and dont tie top plates to lintels. And theres confusion around fixing gable end trusses. Thanks again. Keep these videos coming they extremely helpful.
