Let's get on thing straight. Meditation is definitely a religion. They all gather just like a church, and it is heavily rooted in hinduism. They also follow one guys teachings, just like Christianity. The bible tells us that in the last days, people will listen to seducing spirits, but they are actually listening to fallen angels. In meditation, aka spirit guides.
@TheLiveOutLoudFamily
@TheLiveOutLoudFamily Күн бұрын
That’s really interesting. A lot of people did say that there are people of all religions that practice TM, but you are right that they all focused on principles from one person’a teachings while doing TM. I can see what you are saying!

The reason I think it's a cult is because they present pseudoscience as fact, (like astrology for example) the clear leader/ hierarchical structure, and the complete lack of negatives or cons- all anyone else about where they live and they'll mention pros and cons...unless they're trying to sell you something. That doesn't mean it's all bad, but it's still a red flag. Reminds me strongly of Waldorf/Steiner schools, which are also very much a cult.
@TheLiveOutLoudFamily

Those are really great points, and I love that you point out that it’s not all bad, because that’s how I felt about it too. I wow- I don’t know much about Waldorf/ Steiner schools but while I was there connected with a woman who moved from NY who had kids in a Waldorf school. Now I’ll be researching them tonight. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts!

@@eurotom288 so great to connect with you, Tom! We travel full-time in our RV! So cool that you are looking to live a similar lifestyle! The states are so big and there’s so much to explore. We’re only on state 36 and want to see them all! Our friend is an immigration lawyer in Florida, Shamayev Law, who I think still does free consultations! I know there’s different pathways and to come over here so it might be worth reaching out! There are things like talent visas that aren’t as difficult to obtain as others. We’ve done a couple collaborations with them and they seemed pretty awesome! I’m not sure about what one would be best in your situation, but hope you make it over here! @@TheLiveOutLoudFamily Started off with a 'winter' in Safety Harbor, Florida and go back there twice a year.... then we moved 3,200 miles to Wenatchee Washington State for 4 years and to Wisconsin for 13 years. I dislike Fascism and religion, so this place seems pretty light on those... Our house is 5 beds with a huge triple garage and 2 acre garden, so moving back to English sized houses would be hard.... We have deer and raccoons and opossums etc etc etc. We are on medicare which has a max cost of $4,800 a year and that has saved my life twice with procedures that are hard or impossible get in the UK... 220,000 was reduced to 1,100.... I seriously dislike 50% of the US and its society, but the other 50% can be great. Great extremes of people and climates and cultures. I can park for free!
