This is true, as this has never been ordered or reported by the prophet, but some sahabah mentioned THEY did it, so it’s not considered sunnah of prophet but the sahabah from their keenness and attention did that. It’s not obligatory

@@faraaq Tim humble isnt trustworthy he has openly sat with ali hasan al halabi who the scholars have declared an innovator due to his clear innovations. Steer clear of him, and try to listen to duat like hasan as somali who is known to the likes of Sheikh rabee, . Rather refer the people to duat such as hasan as somali, moosa richardson, raha batts, abu muadh taqweem, abu idrees, abu hakeem.

Burdah clearly contain Shirk in it like seeking refuge in Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم (when a calamity occurs) such as in this line: "O Most Noble of the Creation, I have no other with whom I seek refuge when major calamities befall." whereas we are commanded to seek refuge in Allah only: *"Say: I seek refuge with Lord of dawn i.e. Allaah".* [Surah al-Falaq (113):1] *"Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind i.e. Allaah".* [Surah an-Naas (114):1] We also seek refuge in Allaah before reciting from the mushaf. Allah also says in the Qur'an: *"Invoke Me and supplicate to Me and I will answer you. Indeed those who disdain to worship Me alone will enter the Hell-fire in disgrace"* [Surah Ghaafir (40):60] Allah did not say, invoke Me and the Prophet, or invoke the Prophet, or invoke Abdul-Qaadir Jilani, Badawi, Chisti, and so on. So please fear Allah and take heed of Allah's warning "Indeed those who disdain to worship Me alone will enter the Hell-fire in disgrace." *"Du'aa (supplication) is worship"* [Sahih, at-Tirmidhi 3372 and Abu Dawud 1479] So we make Du'aa directly to Allaah alone as only He - Al-Haafidh (The Protector), Al-Khabeer (The Fully Aware), Ar-Razzaaq (The Great Provider), As-Samee' (The All Hearing), Al-Baseer (The All Seeing), Al-'Aleem (The All Knowing), An-Naseer (The Helper) - can answer it as mentioned in the ayah "Invoke Me and supplicate to Me and I will answer you". The Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) himself explicitly warned against exaggerating in his praise: Narrated 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) , I heard the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying: *"DO NOT exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle."* Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, The Book of the Prophets (55), Hadeeth No. 3212. So let those who claim to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah actually be true to their claim and actually follow the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah! People who invoke the dead in their graves for a need are either ignorant or mad, May Allaah guide such people to the haqq and Straight Path.

What a complete and utter ignoramus! The ' Ya Akram al Khalq ...' part speaks for itself- the poet is saying that from creation he has none other as this is what has come from the blessed tongue of the Prophet peace be upon him himself!! Did he not say in the famous Sahih hadith " I am the master of the children of Adam and it is no boast" He peace be upon him then went on to elaborate on this statement by telling the Companions that on the day of great dread namely Judgement Day, everyone will be running to the prophets peace be upon them starting with Adam seeking intercession but each prophet will give an excuse and refer them to a next prophet until they come to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. He will say " It is for me ie the great intercession" and he will proceed to intercede. Let any stiff necked arrogant literalist try to go it alone on that day!!! These people with their iblis like mentality! Allah protect the Ummah from such misguided interpretations and keep the lofty rank of our Master Muhammad foremost in our minds and hearts always and may we be fortunate to be granted his intercession!!! Oh Allah, protect this Ummah from the misguidance of the wahabi/ salafi/ nejdi interpretations of this Din and keep us loyal to what has been conveyed to us by orthodox Islam!!

You say that it's the perfect way of showing love to the Prophet. If the Sahaba and the first three generations of Islam didn't feel like reciting Burdah, then I don't need to do anything that they didn't do. Firstly, there is no evidence in Islam for this. Secondly, Nobody loved the Prophet more than the companions.

I am confused. The noble sheikh said to not have gaps and spaces in between the people standing for prayer but not to do “Ilsak” which in Arabic literally means to “stick together” like glue would do. How can there be no gaps without sticking together? Is there another video or book where he talks about this subject?

All the classical commentaries on Bukhari like Fath al Bari state the foot to foot expression is a METAPHOR for straightening the lines, foot to foot being done literally is wrong and not what the companions practiced

@@AminAlmaghrabi Amir al Mu'minin fil Hadith Shaykh al-Islam ibn Hajar al-Asqalani writes: [Imam Bukhari’s] reason for choosing this specific title is to exaggerate (mubalagha) the importance of straightening the rows and filling the gaps in between. (Fath al-Bari, 2:247) Anas (Allah be pleased with him) has further stated in a narration of Ma’mar (Allah be pleased with him) which Ibn Hajar (Allah have mercy on him) has recorded in his Fath al-Bari, If I were to attempt this [joining the shoulders and feet together] with anybody today, they would scurry away like restive mules. (Fath al-Bari, 2:247) It is apparent from this statement, that even the Companions (Allah be pleased with them) did not continue this practice after the demise of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace). If it had been a continuous action of the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) (sunna mustamirra) the Companions (Allah be pleased with them) would never have abandoned it, let alone speak of it in such a manner. This means that the narration is not to be taken literally. Imam Shawkani (Allah have mercy on him), who is constantly referred to by those who prefer not to follow a school of thought in Islamic jurisprudence, has not taken it for its literal interpretation either. He writes in his book Nayl al-Awtar: [The statement of the Companion] means, place the parts of the body [shoulders, etc.] in line with each other, so that the shoulder of each person performing prayer is in level with the shoulder of the next person. This way everyone’s shoulders, knees and feet will be in a single straight line. (Nayl al-Awtar, 3:65) May Allah make it easy for you to accept the statements of the fuqaha and not prefer your own personal interpretation of ahadith written in English. Wa iyyak.

However I am shocked that you make a dua like that when I literally was asking to learn, I have never ones said I prefer my own statements in English over the fuqaha, I simply said I was confused and asked for explanations through sources or videos of reliable scholars. We love Shaykh Fawzaan. He can be right in a matter and he can be wrong in a matter. In this matter I personally adhere to the Narration of Anas Bin Maalik, and will gladly read the statement of any other Sahabi that might vary slightly in this matter. I have to read one, but I’m hopeful that if there is any narration from a Companion, then that may shed more light on the affair. My brothers, please address each other in a more courteous manner. May Allaah preserve our Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan upon Khayr and Istiqaamah. Aameen.

you are saying we should join foot of our left and right person? Akhi i am a salafi we here pray while foot to foot, but the hanafi who dont practice this have following objections:, 1- no where in hadith it states shoulder to shoulder feet to feet while standing so what about sujood we should also join foot to foot as seen from hadith 2- how to do knee to knee since in abu dawud it's mentioned that's very difficult 3- imam ibn hajar says the hadith is exaggeration and a metaphor and what it means to be close not literally foot to foot

Muhammad Muslim ibn Abdullah ibn Ubaidillah ibn Shihab Zuhri. said its ijma. mentioned by ibn Battal shar Bukari. Abdul Malik ibn Abdul Aziz Juraij student of ata ibn Raba , teacher said making up salat from mens is bida. 7 :00 - hudayfah Yaman says in last days of the ummah who curse the first they lash for drunkenness and its not in Quran. and they stone adulterers.... there can be recitation stays but rule i s gne, here is recitation gone but rules stays like the stoning... there will be ppl who sa let nisa pray on menses. there is also hadith abu Rifa, don't le me catch ou guys rejecting my unnah saying its not in Quran.

'In my opinion' yes, that's your opinion, and it differs from the understanding of a person of knowledge. What the Sheikh said is correct, and your opinion is wrong.

@faraaq I love the sheikh but he is not infallible. His opinion can be accepted or rejected. The main role of a teacher is to explain and help you understand the texts. This can be gained if a Scholar you trust explains it. What you will miss out however are things like opportunity to ask questions where you do not understand; for this however the solution can be found in other sources like islamqa. The other things you will miss are things not tied to the book like his character which the student can learn and emulate. While I agree a teacher is better, it does not mean you can't gain knowledge by reading books especially the books which are explanation of a book. All these scholars they had great teachers but they also did reading of their own, sheikh Albani for example, i'm told he used to spend a lot of time in the library in Damascus reading on his own about hadith and he became the greatest muhadith of our generation.

@@qarimohammed2141 Accepting or rejecting a fatwa based on our opinion is a dangerous path, it's not a small matter. This small 'in my opinion' can turn dangerous. Satan's footsteps are small.
