Generally with the groove directions your ideally looking at the veins of the disc more so to disperse the heat away, so opposite of the caliper. Some discs have straight veins so it wouldn’t matter which way round but that’s the reason. Hope that helps! 😎

@@GIDetailing Thanks. I thought that these grooves were for transporting brakdust away from the discs. Thats why I always thought that the grooves should face backwards. But as I understand it has nothing to do with brakedust but with cooling aid.

Think back as it was a while ago you’re probably right! But from memory I don’t think the studs were great on the spoiler. 👍

Hi John, It’s really difficult to say, as all products will work with any paint finishes. If you take a look at my social media post I’ve just uploaded. I’ve worked on a BMW Individual Brilliant White E90 M3 this week as opposed to the Mineral White. The first things first on any white car is a good fall out remover and if necessary clay barring as that really does make a huge difference by hand to a white vehicle due to the contaminants that hinder its finish, only thing with clay barring it’s worth recommending to polish afterwards ideally by machine to remove the marring from the clay bar. That would be a good start you have variants of polishes which would really make a difference regardless of what colour it’s specified for as to the human eye a colour specific product won’t be noticeable in my honest opinion.
