I bought the Zero Y version since it is Arca-Swiss compatible without any need for an adapter plate. Tripod seems to be well-made, and the bottom leg is not pencil thin as in most travel tripods. All of my L-brackets (RRS, off-brand, and home made) clamp in nicely with no looseness. My only gripe is the center column in that it takes a feat of strength to get mine to raise. I sprayed some silicone lube on the column which seemed to help, but not by much. Also, an o-ring popped out and I have no idea where it came from until I disassemble and take a look. Anyone else have this problem with the center column?
@PaulFeinberg6 күн бұрын
@@photog1529 nope…is your center column a lever or a knob? Mine is a lever and I have no issues.
@photog15296 күн бұрын
@@PaulFeinberg Mine has the lever release. Its not enough to make me send it back, but it is pretty dang tight. Not sure if I'll lightly try some 600 grit wet sandpaper on the column (unless it wears itself in). But it does seem to be a really well made tripod. My Gitzo Mountaineer with RRS ballhead was getting too cumbersome for times I want to travel light.

Hi, I just got a DJI Action 4 today! My issue is that I have the Rode Video Go II and I noticed a big difference in audio levels when plugging it into my brand new DJI Action 4 with the DJI USB-C to USB-C charging cable provided versus a Rode SC2 TRS to TRS cable with a third party USB-C adapter to connect to the Action 4. The USB-C to USB-C cable provided in the box has quieter but smoother sounding audio and I had to boost the gain setting on the DJI Action 4 from the default of 6 to like 18 to get it to sound at the same level as when using the Rode SC2 cable with the USB-C adapter at the default gain setting of 6 on the Action 4. Could it be that I need a Rode SC-16 USB-C to USB-C cable because the DJI charging cable is not providing a proper audio signal? I suppose my third party USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter might be providing too much of a signal too. . . It was a $22 item on Amazon that clearly states that it can be used to plug in mics for audio.

PRO TIP: you can add a very, very small (less than a drop to the 10ml fluid tank) of essential oil to your fog/smoke to make it more pleasing. I like Jasmine or Cinnamon sent myself. A lot of people use vanilla which becomes nauseating.
@superbmediacontentcreatorАй бұрын
You need to work on your language and the words you choose since the use of specific terms is the key to working with others and using specific terminology to get the effect(s) you want. So smoke, haze and fog are all different effects with specific terms. There is no effect using particulate called “Ice.” Do not use the terms FOG and SMOKE interchangeably as they are not the same and using them as such is a complete lack of effect and substance knowledge. Smoke rises and diffuses quickly while fog falls and spreads acting much more like water. The look is quite different too and confusing the terms is like saying right when you mean left. Being able to talk credibly and accurately about the effect you want see enhances your ability to be taken seriously. Smoke/fog juice is basically glycol and glycerin and distilled water as such it is a positively charged ion and is attracted to anything negatively charged like glass and metal like audio and video connectors. So when you use smoke/fog juice you need to wrap anything you actually care about in cling film like Sara wrap™ and use a UV or clear filter on your lens. The glycerin/glycol film will build up and needs to be cleaned with denatured alcohol or a good glass cleaner.
