Fabula Nova Crystallis was a fantastic idea but poorly executed. Even so, the three games manage to be memorable and emotional despite their flaws and lack of technical polish. It's a shame that, due to all the negative reception these games received, the chances of a remake are very low. Still, I would love to see the entire concept of Fabula Nova Crystallis rebuilt the way it should have been almost 20 years ago.

The Lightning Returns epilogue was so underwhelming. I want to see they all got together, after all of the world ending viasco. Not merely "the got reincarnated in more ideal timeline". That's lazy ass writing.

The release date: 2011, December 15. I was 20 years when I got this glorious game. The first time I heard this title song, I spent hours listening to it, crying for some reason I know not. Now, 15 years later, I come to this song once more, crying, but a happy cry. Time really went by, only for me to realize how far I came. I wish everyone who has heard this a wonderful time in their life, through good and bad.

2024 here! What I love most about this song is its timelessness. Still fresh as ever, and it's truly uplifting and captures that magic you feel on the main menu for the first time ever. The singer for the vocals is so perfectly cast I actually picture sweet Serah singing to me! <3

there is a common feeling among jrpg players which is the strange feeling of being attached to the characters in the game, for those who feel ashamed of being attached to fictional characters there is nothing wrong with that, in the end it is our imagination that is responsible for the existence of fantastic games and characters like lightning, we spend many hours living with the characters of the games we like, part of our subconscious begins to recognize them as real people and that is why we become attached to them to such an extent that it is very It's difficult to accept that the game is coming to an end and we have to move on,i really wish from the botton of my hearth that you real life became a amazing adventure like the games you love.

Something else about jrpgs that just bring out amazing stuff from composers. Some of my favorite osts are jrpgs like this series, Persona 4 and Chrono Cross/Trigger

I remember going through my divorce when this game came out. It was one of the things that make me stay with my feet on the ground. Really hard times. All that struggle trying to save Yuul was very personal to me.

Never played 13-2 and didn’t finish 13, but the music from these games always bring a calm nostalgia since they represent the “brief respites” (see what I did there?) of the craziness that was my college years 😌

Can´t believe it´s been 11 years as of now since this has been posted. FF13 and 13-2 will forever have a special place in my heart. Warning to people coming here though - you WIll get down the rabbit hole of listening to the whole soundtrack. You might want to play them again and you WILL feel nostalgic, maybe, like me, even a bit sad. But remember - you´re here now and are able to listen to everything again. The memories were made. You might won´t be able to bring that time back, but you got your memories. And that´s something beautiful and sad at the same time 💜 Deep stuff over now. I´m glad most of the soundtracks still exist on here. Thank you for posting this MrPwn347! 11 years too late to thank you, but hey, better late than never ^^

When I was in Japanese language class I believe they had a word that describes what you said. Mono no Aware-物の哀れ-and I quote "A Japanese idiom for the awareness of impermanence or transience of things, and both a transient gentle sadness (or wistfulness) at their passing as well as a longer, deeper gentle sadness about this state being the reality of life." Or "The bitter sweetness of a brief, fading moment of transcendent beauty." Deep stuff.

Beautifully said, my man. Couldn't have done it better. I remember watching the gamemovie of 13 and was so entranced by the characters and music that I had to buy 13-2 and play it myself. Such wonderful memories and vibes. Never gonna forget these feelings.

My heart was so young and naive but i love this music so much . I love this game so much and will definitly be replaying it soon. honetly no matter what someones says, this is my favority set of games of all time. I cherish the memorys i have with it.
