I've been listening to the Grateful Dead virtually daily since 1978. I think Dead and Company suck so I never gave Phil and Friends a chance ..... But Woww!!!! Their music is fantastic!!!! (Their singing sucks but the music is great)

If I only listened to this version of Big River I would think this was a much younger Bob singing.

this show was by far the best of the twelve Dead Co shows we saw on Summer '23 tour. and wow this was something I've never heard in 30 years of following the Dead it was an amazing, mind bending show. in the spinner pit where we were dancing sh** was bananas. & can I just mention once again how amazing Jeff Chimenti can be when he goes off?

The beginning of this song gives me chills every time I hear it!! Masterpiece!! I always say this stuff will be talked about like the great composers everyone heard about today!!

Phil keeps the GD ethos of reinventing the music. D&C have attracted some that appear to be heads just to capitalize on the $$. When I see stealies on designer clothes it makes me cringe. I was first attracted to the Scene. One that was the antidote to normal society. The anarchist road imo. We didn't relate to society nor all its trappings. Shortly after the music grabbed my soul. Sometimes it feels that sense of adventure and misbehaving is almost gone. But not totally. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the music is still alive!!!

Saw a lot of shows in the 70's and 80's. Jerry was the soul of the band but Bob brought the energy every night. We are blessed that he is still bringing it. Peace.
