It’s already 2022 and the playoffs are still a mess. I know Cincinnati got in last year as the first ever G5 representative and you can kinda say they’re the first ever CFP busters. It’s like the BCS Busters except it’s the CFP Busters. Anyway, the reason the committee doesn’t like to rank G5 teams is because they have a bias against them. This whole system is rigged. Also, the fact that the G5 gets penalised for conference affiliation is unfair. The can only play the schedule they’re given and there’s only so much they can do. They get a lot of cupcakes and a bunch of crappy P5 teams. A lot of teams in P5 conferences never get a chance at the title. Again, the system is rigged. The scheduling is rigged, the recruitment is rigged, the way teams are ranked is rigged, and of course the entire postseason is rigged. It pretty much has always been rigged. There needs to be a lot changes to this. First thing to do is fix the system from scheduling, to recruiting, and rankings, as well as the postseason. After that, expand the playoffs to at least eight teams because four is not enough. Under an eight team system, I would have the Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Sugar Bowl, and Orange Bowl as the default quarterfinals so that way they can retain their traditional conference tie-ins and have the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl as the default semifinals. I would also add in a couple of play in games as well in the Citrus Bowl and Outback Bowl. I agree the Group Of Five Playoffs wouldn’t be a cleanest of ideas with a championship trophy for what is technically the same level of play but it work as an invitational tournament similar to NIT in College Basketball. Also we can still have individual bowl games as well but we really need to downsize on those because there are way too many now. There is no reason for teams with 5-7 records or even 6-6 records to play in a postseason bowl game. Only teams with winning records should be eligible for a bowl game. It used to be a requirement to have a winning record back in the day when only the best teams would play in a bowl game. It was considered an honour to play in a bowl game. We need to restore that honour. And also, if the lower divisions can have a playoff system with as many as 32 teams while playing an 11 or 12 game season then why can’t the FBS. All the lower divisions have had an actual playoff system for years now and they’ve for the most part had eight teams or more or in this case sixteen or more. Every other sport has a real playoff system as well and they are very popular. The FBS no longer has any excuse. It’s past time to expand to eight teams or more

Take WV and put them in the ACC. Kansas is the only available team in the midwest that checks the Big 12 boxes.

Noter dame is going to the acc and West Virginia going to the acc both have showed that they would like to join plus West Virginia could restart there rivalry with Louisville and I think that Cincinnati would join the big 10 because there extremely close to Ohio State and UConn because they can move all there athletic in one conference . No hate and I think that noter dame would look good in the big 10.

The contract that Notredame has with the ACC only allows them to join the ACC if they give up their independence in football. Notredame wants that East Coast tv market and recruiting grounds.

I think that the chances of WVU to the Big Ten is roughly 0.000%. I think the chances of Notre Dame to the Big Ten is roughly 0.001%.

8 teams is probably the best for the sport, but if I did it, I would have 16 teams. 10 conference champions, 6 at-large bids. Give the G5 champions a shot at the big guys.

San Jose State and Fresno state to the PAC 12 only makes sense . San Jose State natural rivals are Stanford which is in the same county and California which is in the same geographical area Plus San Jose States rival is Fresno State. Fresno State natural geographical rivalry games would be UCLA and USC. And if it were going to be 16 teams in each power five conference then you would add Boise State and BYU to make to pack 16

Update: The Bogdan trade has apparently fallen through and it’s not likely he will be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are also looking to increase the size of the Jrue Holiday trade by adding a third and/or fourth team! Things are getting interesting.
