hey i’m using using Imac 2020 with 3.8GHz 8 core intel core i7 and 32 GB ram..and i’m keep getting cpu overload msg..so i tried all the troubleshooting steps like changing buffer size enabling low latency and freezing tracks but it didn’t work..then i tried using buses for every single channel strip for ex when there are 200 tracks i use 200 buses cuz i apply atleast saturation to every instrument which varies in the amount and type so will this help or worsen the cpu overload state?
@isantiago_Ай бұрын
200 tracks is A LOT!😅 Even with 32 GB of RAM your computer is still going to be working pretty hard. Try consolidating some of your tracks down to audio files to see if that helps. Also, instead of having 200 busses, what you'd want to do is use 1 bus for a specific effect that you can send audio to. For example, lets say you have 6 vocal tracks that you'd want to apply reverb to, instead of putting reverb on each one you use just 1 bus send. I think my largest tracks are usually 60-80 tracks and back when I was on a 2017 Macbook pro with 16 GB of RAM I was getting bogged down. Let me know if this helps! Happy to keep looking into it

I have 2 different audio tracks, one with "sync" in shaperbox being automated (this is the out of time part), and the other audio track has shaperbox set on the rhythm (1/16)

awesome vid. for the bass where you used serum .... could we just find a reese one shot bass from splice ?
@isantiago_5 ай бұрын
You definitely can! But if you want to make a simple reese bass in serum, you can do it with a saw wave with multiple voices and a low pass filter like MG Low 24!

You'll have to assign the track to a bus and create a new track where the input is the bus you just created. From there, just hit record and move the yellow slider in the sampler to shorten the sample! Hope this helps!

Wow truly impressive, Did you automate the rate during the build up the song? , Also make a video on making melodic techno
@isantiago_5 ай бұрын
Thank you, and yes I did automate the rate during the build! (I'll also get to working on a melodic techno vid 👀)
@zeuskynemesis71495 ай бұрын
@@isantiago_ I try doing that kinda transition but not able to pull it as smooth as you.. any tips on it ?
@isantiago_5 ай бұрын
If you're talking about how I automated the rate at the end of the build up at 5:08, there's two ways I would approach it: 1) make sure my automation mode is set to touch and select the rate in shaperbox, then zoom in as far as I can in the track view and draw in the points where I want to automate. Then I would change my mouse tool to the "automation curve tool" and adjust that automation to curve a little bit. The second way I would approach (and this involves a little math) is to use a tempo calculator to find out what I want the rate to be once I end. For example if I am at 128 bpm and want the automation to end in 16th notes, I'd make sure to have the rate at 8.533 Hz. I'd probably also do the same thing of using the automation curve tool as well to make it sounds cleaner. Hope this helps and if you need a more in depth answer feel free to DM me on instagram! @isantiago.wav
