I was once told by a young Salvation Army officer that in order to become a member one had to be invited directly by God. I wonder if this is still the case? If so, how is said invitation communicated? This was told to me before the advent of the internet so typical methods of contact were letter, telephone, telegram, fax machine or face to face dialogue.

Great service this week. Nice to see you all the lovely colours of the rainbow. Good to see you have a ladies fellowship ours is also on a Monday night. Been going since 1967 sadly since covid we only have about a dozen but hope to build it up again . Sadly we never seem to hear the songsters sing so I do not know what happens to the technical side. Maybe you could have the words they sing up on the screen then we could follow them. The singing company's song was rich with blessings.

Was great to be there in spirit. Looking to be back with you all very soon!! Blessings in Jesus Name!!

Lovely meeting as usual please could I ask that you can remember to switch the mica on when speaking as we cannot hear you.after the music has played. The nativity was wonderful it's always lovely to watch the children put this on year on year. I'm watching great grandchildren now so after all these years the story never changes but each and every show is different. There star song was lovely well done children the little boys solo was a gem Bless. Thank you young people it was lovely. And a big thank you to the teachers giving their time on a weekly basis. Thank you for a lovely service this weekend the first in advent. The singing compony sang beautifully especially the yourndg lady who sang the lead and she spoke wonderully with lots on confidence well done. The mercy seat look great with all the poinsettias so colourful have a blessed Christmas season whilst awaiting for the Christ child amen 🙏
