Great review and video. Just bought one of these and the 'instruction manual' is rubbish! I switched on the compressor and watched the pressure gauge almost reach the red zone, panicked and switched off. Internet search and your video showed where the auto point is - so pleased 'cos the prospect of sending this back to the supplier was daunting. Thanks very much!😀👍

What gauge is the traction engine your building
@Hammerandhilt9 ай бұрын
Hi, this engine is a bit of an odd size. The fellow who was designing it originally has since passed away and they were never finalised. I believe it is between a large 2" / small 3" scale. Once completed it will be approximately 3ft in length or just over.

Looks good. What a terrible racket and noise it would be without insulation! Here the price between a 20 and a 40 foot are about the same because everyone prefers the 20's. Good luck setting it up. I've got a 40 & it seems it's mostly stuffed with odds and ends (and millions of flies every autumn)
@Hammerandhilt Жыл бұрын
Yes I plan to insulate it but for the time being it will just be a storage space. Prices are pretty much the same over here, very little difference between 20 & 40fts. I can easily move a 20ft around no issues, Ill be building a outside area for forging under a lean to. I need to have a serious declutter of my forge and work out what I really need to keep hold of and what can be scrapped.
