In other words, that clearly audible tyre squeal from the inside-rear wheel, caused by a complete lack of attempt at rev-matching, hence the resultant partial lock-up on corner entry. When I learnt to drive (50 years ago) there were many cars and trucks which still had gearboxes with deficient synchromesh, or none. Learning to operate them competently, via ‘double shuffling’ the clutch, plus ‘heel & toe’ shifts as required, is a joy once mastered that is never forgotten. Imho it’s a skill integral with driving a manual transmission. Once able to rev-match the engine to the transmission, it becomes a lot easier to maintain cornering balance and traction, and therefore smooth driving, if all 4 of your tyres are rotating at the same speed!
