Sooo you found a soft shelled mud crab and think its empty bc its shell is soft? Not because it just molted?
@denisebrady68583 ай бұрын
Your pots must sit flat on the creek bed & never be out of the water in any tide otherwise only small crabs. Enjoyed your video though & you got some good keepers. Cheers Denise- Brisbane (New subscriber)

We always crab sustainably. I normally only run pots in this creek once or twice a year and haven't actually put any in there yet this year. I will say though between the 3 families that ate these crabs everyone only gets 2 or so each. None made it to our mates 🤣🤣 although I bet they wish they did. This video was also filmed before the 14 crab per boat limit and the 7 in possession per person.

Wonderful video. Can I use the same test with only 5 tones option? What's your advantage at 50 tones? Will the targets not only be heard at 5 tones?
@samuelschmidt29733 жыл бұрын
More a matter of preference. 50 tones does take a bit of getting used to. I find in trashy parks it helps me hear targets that are hiding behind rubbish. I definitely recommend doing airtests to get a feel for your machine and understand what targets make what noise. I think my next video will be doing airtests on different targets showing what shape size and position can do to target IDs

Nice fun video I was going to buy the 800 but now considering the 600 and save these $300 I do like your digging knife
@samuelschmidt29735 жыл бұрын
I found for what i do the 600 is just fine and i have even heared it can still find gold. I picked mine up for $800. It has paid itself off already easily. The digging knives are about $80 and any minelab dealer sells them.

I hope Philippines has that law. Legal size No one will take the female crabs Cause every little crabs they take can lay an egg in the future Sad to say it but it’s true😞
@samuelschmidt29735 жыл бұрын
where i live in Queensland they have to be 15cm across and males only. In some other places in Australia females are allowed.
@randomvids66855 жыл бұрын
Thats right,big crabs can lay eggs before human catches them but here in the Philippines,filipino’s citizens,not all filipinos but lots of filipinos catches even the small crabs.time will comes crabs will be in endangered.
