She definitely gives woke vibes. My family and I moved to Sacramento in the 80s and immediately were drawn to the name Negro Bar which had me learning more about its history. Had it not been for these names on the map, I would never have known about their efforts here. Personally, I wish we had more info on where and how they lived here.
