@ownrc3 күн бұрын
doesn’t make your board bad! they just didn’t have to pay a lot to rent it. don’t let the internet or marketing convince you that you need expensive top of the line stuff to be good or have a good experience. modern technology has advanced to the point where most base level products function perfectly for what they are. a $2-300 snowboard can be absolutely amazing for you, it just depends on what you can get out of it!

Literally said they bought sale and used gear 😂
@ownrc3 күн бұрын
but a lift ticket only gets you one day, unless you’re buying a season pass which can be upwards of $500 in Oregon, even more expensive elsewhere. They bought discount gear from next adventure which has great sales, and now will be able to go and repeat this non-resort ride for free other than a board rental.

Getting on mountain food and rentals but not paying for a lift ticket and thinking you budgeted has gotta be one of the most braindead things I’ve ever heard, solid 50 - 60 bucks, add on another hundred for a lift ticket and you couldve skiied 100x more, makes no sense to pay 40+ bucks for rentals and then walk up a hill lmao
@j.p.622815 күн бұрын
Ya rentals and mountain foot are absurdly expensive lmao
@drumist10114 күн бұрын
Renting 3-4 times would pay for a decent used setup. Even just getting boots saves some dough and they’re more comfortable
@ownrc3 күн бұрын
But you can only go for 1 day with a lift ticket. and that’ll run you $75-200 depending when you buy it. Not to mention renting gear on top of that. Al fornos is a pizza place so a few people getting a pizza can be very cheap ($5-10 each) And now with the used gear they’ll be able to go and repeat this day for only the price of their rentals from the shop. That is cheaper than the lift ticket alone, and if you were at a resort you probably eat food there, and rent from there. Good luck getting cheaper 😂

I'm a 11.5 boot size. My daily driver is a 256 and I usually have no problems. I tried a 263 and it's was a very noticeable difference that I could not bare. Carving and going edge to edge felt slower and more cumbersome. Never again. I'll probably never go above 257

Nice video 👍 I like the idea for you to show people that someone doesn't need to be in a forest and hang an hammock around a tree before using it Personally I rarely go to the forest but I'm using mine just as you do, in between pilars or windows protectors and sleep extremely fine & I'm enjoying it. Hammocks have their place even in the city ✌️
