"Ethel Gumm" 🤣🤣The serial killer from SOTL Buffalo Bill was called Jaime Gumm and could be a possible relative? @bonkersLFC typed in the chat that Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Hugh Warner. When I lived at home, me and my kid brother (who is 10 years younger than me) developed a penchant for watching MTV for no other reason than to laugh at shit videos to shit songs (like many others have one would imagine) and say appallingly infantile things about the people in the videos. There was a Marilyn Manson song we (or chiefly I) used to buzz off. 😇😉 I moved back into my mum's in 1993 when I was 20 and our John was just 10. We loved watching Most Haunted for the exact same reason. It brought us hours of unbridled joy our pursuit of dining on bad music videos and Most Haunted when it was in its pomp with Derek Acorah 🥸- I tutored our kid in the ways of righteousness (to paraphrase Withnail) - and when he was old enough (and mum finally allowed him to) we'd have bottles of WKD and other popular mild alcoholic drinks of that nature in his bedroom having fits of laughter about Derek Acorah, Yvette Fielding, and her cameraman hubby Karl plus the alleged ghostly activity, yes...I was there to accompany our John and do my 'Big Brother' duties by having a drink with this young man. The mirth increased tenfold vis-a-vis us laughing at stuff (Everton were often the target)on the TV. Marilyn Manson's song (I honestly can't remember or never did know its name) was unconscionably dire and its video possibly even beat the song for how criminally bad it was. The drummer from Slipknot (whom I'd never yet heard of) was in the video. I had no idea who he was but our John knew and informed me. The Slipknot drummer had this leather mask on with spikes all over it. It was meant to be a freaky party at Manson's mansion or some guff I think in this video. Lots of folk both dressed and made-up outrageously to emphasize how supposedly wild a party this is. And the man himself, Marilyn H Warner knocks back a sleazy-looking cheerleader that is seemingly intent on gaining carnal knowledge of MM in the video. 🤣🤔😂- Aaaaaah...long live nostalgic peregrinations to the entertainment of eras passed such as MTV in the 90s. 😇😉 An amusing memory...

I thought Marilyn Manson's "schtick" for want of a better descriptive word was abject. For me, Lady Gaga gave off the same aura and air of inauthenticity as Manson. Being authentically strange isn't easy for an artist I'd imagine. The more that they wantonly exhibit being what they believe to be strange, the less I believe that they are strange or exotic in any manner.

Ortega's comment was simultaneously amusing and unsurprising. They wish they had our fans. My city home is "not the best place in the country" ??? Jesus....can't these guys take a joke? Have they ever heard of humour? These are strange goings on with their players. There is a saying: Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake. Their bleating speaks volumes as to where their heads are at. 🥲😉
