Yes I do too. The sounds, Music, Graphics & Core gameplay loop is fantastic :) Nothing really like it has been created since. Satellite Reign comes close, but it is kinda missing on the having a HQ where you upgrade your team "aspect", which is a really cool and cruel part of the game/world. The X-com series does this really well in my oppinion :) Come to think of it, I should probably give Syndicate: American Revolt a spin as I havent completed that yet. Ps. Hi Mr. DarkLord, Thank you for your comment and subscription they both help a lot with growing the channel, and keeping up morals when the games get though :) I’m planning on playing new games, as well as some nostalgia games that I personally find enjoyment with. The general theme of the channel if not obvious yet, would be Action, Violence Blood & Gore :) If you know any games like that, please do tell.

Yes this game does have a certain style, very bloody and souls like. aka. the game is hard, if you are a newb... like me, you will see in part 2 if you stick around, youtube chapters are a viewers best friend in that one ;) Also the game is fun when it clicks :) I think a controller is best for interaction.

Mine too, thats why I play this again even after 30 years. It is definitely in my top 3 all-time best games (even with the bugs). It is more than just nostalgia, and has been such a greate influence on many of my other favourite games like the xcom series.

Furthermore get a field kitchen up asap, and always have the train bring in new people. I was contemplating getting the updated version, but I just don’t know, the Steam version scratches the pixel violence itch just fine. Does the DLC content brings anything more to the standard "One Year to Rome" experience? Yes Fodder and his brethren deserved much better, but they bring safety and coin, hmm a graveyard would be a nice addition to the game, such that you could see the fallen Gladiators... 😊
