hey my light isn't working, it lit up when I only press the button, do you have any suggestion on how to fix this?
@ginaartsgalleryКүн бұрын
Hi! You could try taking the light component apart and readjusting the wires and battery, as it could just be a faulty connection. Hope this helps you, if not please ask again ☺️

thank you for the tutorial, it was really helpful. I had just one question - how long does the battery last?
@ginaartsgallery12 күн бұрын
It often depends on how frequently the lamp is turned on. If it uses standard AAA batteries, it can typically last anywhere from several hours to a few days of continuous use. However, for intermittent or occasional use, the battery could last much longer.

Wax makes gears and parts working smoothly. You can use candle. It is easy to get.

Great tutorial - but some kits are extremely poorly made - my tulips did not have any "slots" between the petals to get the wires in, so there was no way to get the lights in without the tulips falling off.
@ginaartsgallery15 күн бұрын
Some of the cheap kit on the market are low quality. I don’t recommend any kits price below 15 dollars.

Most of the reason why they won’t turn is the plastic nut is too tight.

Ive gotten to 28:34 but im not sure what to do... My cogs all connect, but the big brown one on the top isnt aligned with the new smaller ones... It is slightly off, enough to cause issues with the turning at times, presumably causing bigger issues down the line. The big brown cog is a bit rickety aswell, i noticed the difference earlier when i saw yours at the beginning of step 4 looking much better than mine, but i couldnt figure out how to fix it and now im confused if i should keep going or go backwards
@ginaartsgallery19 күн бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like the big brown cog isn’t fully aligned with the smaller ones, and that could definitely cause some issues. Here’s what I recommend: Check Alignment: The large brown cog needs to be properly aligned with the smaller ones for smooth turning. If it’s slightly off, you may need to loosen it and carefully readjust its position. Ensure it's centered and aligned with the new smaller gears before tightening again. Inspect for Wobble: If the big brown cog is rickety, it may not be seated properly on the shaft. Double-check that it’s securely attached and that there’s no excess play or wobble. If needed, you can remove it and carefully reinstall it, making sure it sits flush and tight. Review Step 4: You mentioned the difference between yours and mine at Step 4-this step is crucial for the proper alignment of the gears. I’d suggest revisiting that part of the assembly and ensuring everything lines up as it should. Go Back if Needed: If things still don’t seem right, don’t hesitate to go back a few steps to see if anything was missed. Fixing these issues early on will prevent bigger problems later in the build. Take your time with it! I know it can be frustrating, but getting the gears to turn smoothly is key for the whole project. Feel free to let me know how it goes or if you need more help. You’ve got this!

What if i want my lotus in medium size? Do you have a-like formula or pattern for that? Thank youuuu
@ginaartsgallery21 күн бұрын
Hi! As the lotus increases like 6,12,18 stitches in each round resulting in consequently 3,6,9 petals, I would recommend increasing in increments in 6. Like round 1, 6 sc, round 2, 12 sc, round 3, 18 sc, round 4, 24 sc… etc. increase the rounds until you reach the size you are happy with, hope this helps!
@ginaartsgallery21 күн бұрын
You could also use thicker wool which would give you a bigger flower using the same pattern ☺️
