Venti about Xiao: Who? I believe Venti was just visiting Liyue one day and decided to play some tunes with his flute. Fortunately for Xiao, Venti was nearby. Xiao was about to be overwhelmed by his karmic debt. That is when he heard the tunes of a flute. One whom calmed him down and saved him from the karmic debt. Though I believe Venti was unaware of Xiao's presence, or he was aware but didn't bother to find out who it was. It's not that Venti had forgotten, it's just that Venti never knew who was listening to his tunes on that night. Oh and one more thing: I believe Xiao not only yearns and wants to listen to that tunes again, but actually needs it to survive. The tunes played by Venti didn't erase Xiao of his karmic debt, it just made it more bearable. I believe if Xiao listen more to Venti's tunes, slowly he will be able to erase that karmic debt, or atleast prevents it from consuming him again. Venti's tunes were the only tunes that can save him. Even he claimed whoever played those tunes were definitely played by a god - though he doesn't know which god. But he probably figured it was Barbatos considering Venti, a bard, someone who sing and play tunes, is Barbatos.
