There were a couple that the question or answer was messed up (On which king signed the Magna Carta, the answer given was King John but it pointed at Richard I so I still don't know the answer.), but overall it was a decent quiz. I did pretty well considering I live in the US.
@ThehonestmirrorАй бұрын
I appreciate your input! The correct answer is King John - he signed the Magna Carta in 1215. Sorry for any confusion caused in the video. Thank you for pointing out the mix-up, and I'll work on ensuring accuracy in future quizzes. Glad to hear you enjoyed the quiz overall, especially since you're in the US! Thanks again for playing along and sharing your thoughts!

which uk country is famous for double decker busses. country? or city? you have both among the answers. you listed England and Wales, and then the answer was London. which, as you know, is not a country. i knew more than i thought. however, some questions were just ridiculous. english breakfast comes to mind.
@ThehonestmirrorАй бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right that London is a city and not a country, and we’ll make sure to clarify such details better in future videos. As for some of the questions feeling unusual, we try to keep them engaging and unique, but we really appreciate your thoughts and will keep them in mind while creating new content. Thanks for watching and engaging with us!

Hi. Just a question. What' s the difference between Desert and Dessert?? Which one is in the example? Thanks.
@Thehonestmirror2 ай бұрын
Great question! The difference between desert and dessert is: Desert (with one 's') refers to a dry, barren area of land with very little rain. Example: The Sahara is a vast desert. Dessert (with two 's') is a sweet dish usually eaten after a meal. Example: I had cake for dessert. In the example from my video, I was referring to dessert, the sweet dish eaten after a meal (used in American English).
@Thehonestmirror2 ай бұрын
Just a quick note! I realized after watching the video that I mistakenly wrote 'desert' instead of 'dessert'. The correct word for the sweet dish after a meal (American English) is 'dessert' with two 's'. Thanks for your understanding! Apologies for the confusion.

The British pronunciation is voiced by American AI. American English isn't international English, far from it.

There ARE more differences or the difference IS greater. This video is making up differences. Many of the so-called differences are contextual/generational.
