So great that you can't hear a lot of Plant, never liked his singing, other than then an awesome band.

Never heard live until this and of course Zep killed it. Still like the studio version better because it sounded so innocent and pure.

What I think is Pages greatest attribute on the guitar is his attitude he can project. All the feelings he can emote.

Great footage! Those British Racing Green Sparkle Ludwig’s! The person filming surely did risk life and limb - should Cole or Grant discover you! I’m glad they didn’t!

All years gone by and I never knew they closed the show on the 29th with this song. This sounds like a soundboard recording, now I'm curious if the film and movie soundtrack mix is available anywhere. I can sense how this ended up not fitting into the context of the final movie version, but wiith all the re-releases and remixes of TSRTS it would be so awesome if they would just release the whole concert in the order of the set list from the last night, even if individual songs are best of the 3 nights.

I think the NQ arrangements on the 73 tour were superior to what was to come in later tours. I love JPJ but when he sticks to organ only and doesnt switch to grand piano the he gives Jimmy a much more solid bed to solo over... such as this master work. This, plus the album highlight of NQ on The Song Remains the same recorded NY madison square in 73 i believe. This arrangement is so similar and is magnificent!

Would be great to have a version without the cut out during the small guitar break so I can use as a backing track. On that note a drums and bass isolated would be good too! Thanks so much for this upload

loved how Plant's voice sounds in 1971. It sounds full and not lacking
@nthdegree1269Ай бұрын
Also full of conviction at least for this song... He's a storyteller in 1971 come 1973 his voice sounds fatigued a little bored with some excitement

Love this! I remember seeing the Beatles and the Stones in the 60's and the audiences seemed there to drown out the bands. Here they are respectful and listening

I was there. It would have been so nice to have seen the whole show. 😢. Too bad there is no video of it. The rain that evening came down so hard it was crazy. The steps in the stadium looked like waterfalls. The stage was poorly protected with some cheap tarps ,and when the rain hit, it was only a matter of time till one of them filled with water and then collapsed onto the stage, sending hundreds of gallons of water everywhere. It knocked shit over and basically ended the show. What a real bummer😮.

I coul definitely see this as Bonham's first solo album cover, him with his Animals on his farm👍🏻😅 imagine if he was alive, he could have put out an album of just his drumming...he was bloody brilliant he was.
