Dont paint the ceiling

I don’t think that you should paint the ceiling, perhaps just paint a border in there same yellow shade. Instead use your own beautiful fabrics in the room, a big rug… Excited to see what you decide on doing! 💕

I personally would leave the ceiling white and find similarly colored furniture and maybe a butter rug to tie the room together. But it'll probably still look great if you do paint the ceiling!

Do everything else (decor, art, curtains, bedding, carpet, furniture) and then see what to do.

Love how you don’t follow what everyone is doing and create your own unique space. So bored of only seeing beige and white houses. Butter yellow ceilings would really soften the space and add warmth.

To be honest, while I like the buttery yellow color something with the big cupboard in this color is just a little off to me. Maybe its just because there is no furniture yet and I don’t know your final vision. But to me painting the celing will probably not help. It feels a little like an accent wall, and I rarely like accent walls. I think I would try a lighter shade of yellow for the cupboard, so the contrast to the celing and walls is not as stark… However, I‘m looking forward what you do, I really love your style ❤️

Maybe just add a tiny crown molding in between the existing ceiling one and the painted cabinets, to act as a physical dividing line. I'm imagining something with a thick curve or bold lines, but excited to see what you'll decide anyway 💖✨️

It depends on the protagonism you want to give the wardrove, and the style of the rest of the house. If I wanted a Baroque style, I would paint it gold, even the handles and doors modling too. Otherwise, I would paint the crown molding the same color of the walls.
