High quality video content! I have another question: someone transferred me some usdt and I have recovery phrases. 「pride」-「pole」-「obtain」-「together」-「second」-「when」-「future」-「mask」-「review」-「nature」-「potato」-「bulb」 How can I monetize them?

I’m reading the Postscript Murders thanks to your recommendation and it is so fun! It’s not a genre I would have checked out otherwise, so I’m so glad I picked it up.

I struggled a bit with all the character background tangents, and I’m guilty of just skimming those pages 😅

I listened to the audiobook and I thought it was an okay book, not good or great. The pacing seemed slow at the start, but luckily picked up towards the end, but the ending kind of fell flat for me, important details considering the disappearances of Bear and Barbara were a bit unbelievable to me.
@rinceyreads21 күн бұрын
I can get that! It definitely is more character driven and less of a mystery so it doesn't tie up very cleanly
@annefloorlanting514721 күн бұрын
@rinceyreads, I generally don't mind character driven books and often even gravitate towards them, but here I went in expecting a mystery and didn't really get that, so I guess that does play a role in my assessment/review of the book. When it comes to character driven books, I need to really care for, symphatize with or have some sort of strong feelings (can also be negative) for the characters and I also didn't really have that with God of the Woods. The only one that I really liked was juditha (don't know how it is spelled, as I listened to the audiobook) and for some of the others, I knew you were supposed to dislike them, but I didn't really know enough details about them to really hate them, if you get what I mean.

I read this shortly after it was released and really enjoyed it. It was a very strong summer book for me--lots of summer camp vibes!

Great review! I actually think she nailed the different POVs and varying timelines. It made the pacing feel more fast paced than it actually was. Especially at the end where the POVs get shorter. It made it angsty. I liked that part. For me the rich family (the Van Laars) as the quintessential “villains” of this story and weaving in this backstory of how they (perhaps unjustly) took over the land that is now the camp subplot did not quite do it for me. It’s clear she was trying to make some distinction between the working class and the wealthy and I feel like she completely lost the plot there and didn’t fully weave that into the outcome of the narrative. I do think Liz Moore did a really good job of throwing some red herrings in that kept me trying to figure out what was going on and I do think this definitely succeeds as a literary suspense novel. It’s an objectively good book but I think wish the working class vs wealthy family trope was fleshed out a little more.

I also really struggled with My Brilliant Friend. I temporarily DNF’ed it around page 160 a few months ago but because it’s so beloved I hope I can return to it someday. I really want to love it!

I don't think it is for everyone! If I wasn't told to stick with it to a point that I enjoyed (which I am pretty sure you passed), I would have DNF'd

I loved this book. I listened to it first and then read the physical book. I used to go to summer camp in upstate NY. This just ticked all the boxes for me.

Being pregnant is just A LOT. I never had a baby but I have been pregnant. I remember the exhaustion and never being hungry and couldn't keep anything down anyway and wanting to hurl whenever I smelled anything. Congrats on surviving the first trimester. Meal planning is a major pain in the butt no matter what. You're doing the heavy lifting now!

Many congratulations for this wonderful news 🎉! My first pregnancy was easy peasy (I got pregnant at 25), but I'm currently pregnant with our second child and halfway through (I'm 32 now), and the first trimester was very challenging, i was constantly nauseous. Since entering the second trimester, it's been better, but who the first three months were something, I was not able to read or even get joy from it due my exhaustion from work and just life and being pregnant.

Against the Loveless World was sooo good but so heartbreaking. I had the same thoughts with My Brilliant Friend. That wasn’t what I would classify as a friendship it felt more like they were siblings. Had this relationship been a familial bond that was challenging to walk away from it would have made more sense to me than just friendship.

This is an amazing review. I think the meandering and wandering of the narrative is to indicate that it’s a journal of the main character. This is my first time seeing a video this channel and I enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Congratulations! I’m so happy for you and your husband! I had my last baby at 37 and it was a little difficult and more uncomfortable than when I was younger and pregnant. Once your baby gets here, none of this matters anymore. This is one lucky baby to have you for his/her momma! I hope you can keep us updated….we don’t care about editing.
