I think one of our cats has learned to "weaponize" catnip. She will roll around in it; gets all "lovey-dovey," and let us pet her in ways she would never let us pet her (her stomach and chest). Then, she goes outside...and, gets into fights with other cats...while she still has catnip on her. The other cats will roll-around with her while fighting...then, they just "BOOM" they run off like a bullet. I know catnip will do nothing to some cats (one of our cats is like this); catnip will have a good effect on some other cats (the cat I'm talking about is like this); and, catnip will have a VERY negative effect other cats (a lot of the cats which our cat fights with are like this). I'm pretty sure those cats, which run-off IMMEDIATELY after starting a fight, are having some kind of terrifying hallucination when they smell the catnip on our cat...and, I think our cat KNOWS THIS! Both of our cats are smart...but, this one cat is some kind of GENIUS!
