We have an old saying in the UK. If you need 5 basses you've got the wrong 4. Call me old fashioned, but a band should be 25 brass plus percussion. No more.

No, it's different year by year. But "Queensbury" is traditionally always start of the concert. After many years of participation they made a break. In 2023 the Cory Band has been playing in Lucerne.

Lol, I don't know anyone who's worked with him and doesn't say that he's fantastic. But I agree that he makes some odd musical choices sometimes (didn't mind this one that much, though).

I've watched this piece many times, and each time it makes me cry like a newborn baby. The music pierces the heart and the musicians are absolutely superb. ❤❤👍👍🇬🇧 It makes me weep partly because it reminds me, on a visceral level what has been stolen from us.
