It looks like the key to him being able to overcome all of those huge fouls and still get the ball in the hoop is his insane concentration and working out in the weight room. I've never seen anyone be able to do that. You just couldn't stop the guy.

Poor guy gets 20 seconds into the mixtape and has to rewind because he can't believe what he just saw. And is depressed immediately after. Props to you for watching this and posting your reaction though and admitting that Jordan was just on another level.

6:00 Jordan lifted off so fast off just 1 or 2 dribbles that the defender COULDN'T go up with him. A lot of MJ's dunks were from just 2 dribbles and a 2-step gather.
@TheeThunderGod3 күн бұрын
4:50 what's crazy about the clip is Jordan's hands were way bigger than they should've been for his size. He could catch a full speed pass out the air with one hand, players cant do that.

Bruh LeBron is a false prophet! MJ was the true Assassin!
@roberth.91694 күн бұрын
I’m not trying to disrespect LeBron, but he’s not on the same level as Jordan. ‘Bron will go down as one of the best of all time, but Jordan stands alone. I’m old enough to have watched both guys and the thing that sets MJ apart from everyone else was his killer instinct and work ethic. When you watch LeBron play, pay attention to what he’s doing on defense. He’s taking a break most of the time, and just standing around. Then go watch Jordan’s game film, and you’ll see that very rarely did MJ just stand in the corner and not give any kind of effort. MJ was like a predator, always looking for his next kill. Even when he could’ve said nah I’m good, I just ate a second ago and I’m not really hungry right now. MJ wanted to win. Plain and simple. Not just win the game, but he wanted to win every possession. I’m not saying this just to hate on LeBron. To me personally, after watching both guys play for many years...Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. The whole “GOAT” debate is ridiculous to me. But that’s my opinion. Others may feel different and that’s fine.

"in my opinion all-around players it´s Lebron James" How could be an all-around play,er someone that... as a defensive player... it´s an axcelente architec? his defense is ... a none-existent thing.... As a defensive player, he´is a flowerpot in a corridor... and on the other hand, you have a player who was the best offensive player in the league (and was for 10 consecutive years) and the best defensive player in the league (with official recognition in the 87-88 season) AND a starting player on the league's all defensive team in each of his seasons... "in my opinion all around player it´s Lebron James" that´s funny

Bird and Magic took the NBA to a new level. Absolute joy to watch.. these were big guys for their positions, and extraordinarily creative. They were artists, really. Obviously great athletes, but the showmanship hasn't been replicated since then... this is a highlight reel of course, but both of those guys did that stuff nightly.

You gotta watch whole game highlights of his Washington Wizards days instead of just looking at stats. Those years were basically his "Swan Song", showing you his life's work. He was using pure footwork and fundamental artistry to score, using every move in his arsenal because he was no longer an explosive youngin. He exhibited his full mastery of the game.
@filmdude99707 күн бұрын
Explosiveness HOF, footwork HOF, handles, midrange HOF, acrobatic HOF, assists, defensive HOF, insane durability, insane stamina, high IQ. He wasn't just considered the GOAT in basketball, he was considered the GOAT ATHLETE in any sport ever. Nostalgia isn't the reason for that. I didn't even watch the man play live, I just saw way too many tapes because every coach told me "don't be watching lebron play, watch someone who mastered the fundamentals, watch Jordan".

Im 47 years old, so ive watched magic and bird play. alot of great players over the years.. .. Great players... This dude is different. Michael could fly. The most talented player, the most skilled player, and the killer instinct to back it all up.. i know young people weren't alive when mike was playing, so you have no clue of the impact he had on sports, not just basketball... There is Muhammad Ali, There is Babe Ruth and there is Michael Jordan.... Lebron isnt on that level... I like LeBron alot... amazing player... MJ is the Goat for a reason...it isnt close either.

One of the better reactions I've seen to this video. I loved the observation that Bird was playing with his food.....lol He was really one of a kind, and he beat everyone in his era. He demolished Jordan. Swept him twice in 86 and 87 playoffs. The first like 15 games he played against Jordan, Bird won like 12 or 13 of them.

I wish basketball fans would remember - we live in an era where "clicks" generate money. Nick Wright, Shannon Sharpe, Kendrick Perkins, Gils Arena etc all say controversial stuff and try to stir up the hornets nest with untruth because it generates views for the podcast or networks., John Salley just admitted to have been doing that in the past knowingly! It's a product of living in a capitalist society - narratives are shaped to generate money, truth be damned. Jordan is the GOAT, and they all know it.
@zipo103910 күн бұрын
Dude if he misses he will make that up on defense and fascilitates Bron bums aeound, busy whining on the refs leaving them 4 on 5 situarion, jordan doesnt rest on defense and hustles something you dont see on stas mentality attitude dude, Labrons points comes from flopping bailed out shots,travelling,offensive fouls,in short he has bagless points.Aplly the same rules on thi era,i dont think labron can survive,ive seen it on the finals with spurs and mavs,theu w9nt let him get away with that.its incomparable!,labron making the right play is a myth pleassee the guy has the worst turovers esp on clutch moments!dont justify it.

I like this video better than the historic bulls mixtape because it shows how he controls a game. Perfect footwork to get to spots and elevate. If you look closely at many of his shots you can tell the shotclock is low. He's demoralizing the defense. Look at when he makes his moves also. Just efficient. And keep in mind that he did this on a cluttered court. Just 🐐
