you are comparing the triple 8 knee pad form the "saver (money)" set of 3 pack, with the regular model of the other brand Protec; theres different qualities, the pack of 3 would be more for occasional practice, that triple 8 you have on your leg is different and smaller than the knee pad kp22 triple 8 that you shoukd be trying and is the one that pairs up with the protec from your other leg....obviously the one on the left seems like a toy compared to the other one...

What about a small-wheel, low profile-boot skate just for indoor roller rink skating? Is there a jam inline skate?
@skatingmagic2546 ай бұрын
Yeah there are jam inline skates with all the features you mention. It's just that mostly use regular skates (soft boots + hard boots). One of us (Bujie in the video) actually does roller dancing with regular inline boots and 110mm wheels; I wonder if it might better if they did it with actually roller dance inlines.

I started inline skating back in early 1995, when I was 9, and I only remember hard boots only being used for aggressive skates like the examples shown earlier. As a fitness skater, soft boots with some reinforcement have been the only ones that I have owned. I currently use the Rollerblade Macroblade 110 3WD (the skates shown in my avatar, yes, those are mine), and they also have the boot reinforcements to cope with the taller wheels. Get them on smooth surfaces and they fly! They also handle cracks and bumps like they’re non-existent.

Agree with you 100%. I have skated both hard boots and soft boots, and while I don't hate on soft boots, I have come to love hard boots that much more. These days they're the only skates I use, besides speed skates, and as you know, these are neither 100% hard nor 100 soft.

how do you know what size the smaller bolt should be?
@skatingmagic2547 ай бұрын
If you search for replacement bolts of a skate model, they are naturally gonna be standard size. But if you search brake replacement bolt, you'll a longer size.

Thanks for the very informational video! My first pair of rollerblades were hard boot Bauer in 1992. After 10 yrs they were pretty beat up so I invested in K2’s. I’m now 58 and just bought my third pair. They last a long time! I’m no trickster but blade for exercise approx 50 miles per week.

K2s are awesome. Love them! Also love that you are 58 and still living your skate life, happily. Happy for ya! Keep going.
