I thought about it for a long time. I was feeling brave one day and decided my hair is not something I am so attached to, and it grows back. I wanted a change in my looks, I wanted to see what my head shape looked like, and what my face looked like with a bald head. There are so many reasons. I have some friends who went through cancer treatment and lost their hair so this was inadvertently a way of supporting them, although I didn’t raise money for charity or donate my hair to wig makers. This was for me as well, a way of rebelling against beauty standards. I’m glad you asked though as up until now I haven’t explained it, never really felt like I had to
