Salaam, Somaya, my friend. You are wonderful! This is a great interview. Besides a tourist guide, you can be a news interviewer! I have posted this on my page. You and Kubra are wonderful examples of independent Afghan women. You do not sit in your house depressed because you can't go to an american indoctrination school, or because you hear on the radio (even Tolonews, Azadi radio (who are american funded), or BBC. I spent about 2 years in Afghanistan 1975-1979, many months in Herat, and you show there is much more freedom and opportunity for women now in Afghanistan, then back in the "golden" 70s! Too many people believe what usa dominated media tells about Afghanistan (including U N politically motivated reports by people who don't really know Afghanistan, or the culture. Usa makes bad propaganda about any country whose govt they don't agree with. Congratulations on your thriving life, and to Kubra also. You can see in your smiles and the light in your eyes the true future for Afghan women. Subhanullah!
