They don't even need to impose hard caps on RPM to keep them low. Once they banned expensive alloys, engines durable enough to operate at these revs became impossible.

Those 20000 RPM are amazing. I like V6, V10 and V12 but those V8 with that rev limiter are just out of this world

The Cosworth engine was considered as the most powerful engine of 2006, and the only one to reach 20k rpm. The car developement wasn't successful.

This sounds better then the v10 onboard, sounds more agressive. But it's my opinnion.

eh, i don't think so. i think the v8s are less deep sounding than the v10s, although 2006 v8s were pretty decent sounding engines. it's the rev-limited v8s of 2009 and beyond that sounds pretty bad.

Its been 15 years, but I just can't get used to it. Everytime at Turn one (0:17) I'm like "here we go"... "flat out...give it all"....but then they always break for turn two at 0:23 . Why did this have to happen? WHY???

I don't mind that nowadays we have the turbocharged V6, but my God...F1 with rev limits is not F1. Let the teams and engine builders innovate and develop their products - it's the only way technology moves forward.

I get your point, and i'm not too worried about the turbo-V6's either. But one of the biggest problems in F1 in many years have been the high cost! Of course running a F1-team is not cheap, but it's a fine balance how much freedom the teams should - or should not - have! It's not given that F1 would have made it well through the world wide financial crisis without the engine freeze, and keeping the rules of long lasting engines, limited testing etc.! And many decades of F1-history shows, that it's very often the limitiations (Both technical and finalcial) that make engineers innovate and develop, because they are forced to think in new directions, and not just what can be bough for the biggest amount of money!

My relative put together 18 million within 4 months in FIFA and reckoned he was actually amazing. This guy kept it hush-hush besides the fact that I pleaded with the man even so I found the best way once I reviewed his internet history. Loser. He got effective in trading using the Zappo Fifa Gold System (Google it!)

It's turbocharged V6's for next season and nothing else. And no it's not sad in my opinion. Remember the strongest F1 engine ever was a turbocharged 4cyl BMW which could put out 1400HP during Q.

I ja imam derbija i svi mi govore da treba napred stavit veci a iza manji O.o??? Samo par pitanja ako moze...Di si nabavio Akrapa??? Sto si radio na mašini??? I oko filtera za zrak sto si stavio koju gljivu koliki promjer? Sve u svemu svaka čast, motor izgleda predobro i ja ocu akrapa na svome ali ga ne mogu nac znam da je sa Yamahe r125 ali nema ga nigdje :(

It's not worhtless .. I've a Derbi Senda DRD 125 4T with an Cheaper exhaust and i can do a lot of noise than that , and my bikes reach on 146km/h :D 400euros in a 125 that coast under 3000euros its not worthed :D btw nice bike!
