I read in a interview, that Peter Falk was first a cigarette smoker and that he doesn't have a favorite cigar brand, he loved any kind of cigar, he didn't care if they were cheap or expensive 'cause he loved the smell of them and he said that in Columbo they used the cheapest cigar they can find, like White Owls, Swisher Sweets and others, 'cause his character wasn't wealthy 😁

This skips the fact that cigars were smoked by the Mayans for spiritual purposes like a lot of other ones do on KZbin. There are old out of print books that include what the Maya used them for. The smoke connected these people's to their deceased members and ancestors and was believed to cleanse the ones smoking it spiritually. Please stop leaving that information out or it will get lost
