Cant you take the inner capsule out and put a groundsheet in?

@@BRISTOLDNB you can, but in colder weather you'd probably suffer a bit of condensation without the vapour shield that comes with the non-pro Titans.

@@BRISTOLDNB I spent 36hrs with it hacking down with rain so spent most of that time in the bivvy and not a single drop of condensation. I'll definitely be leaving the capsule in mine but I'll be getting a groundsheet to go under the capsule as the one built into the capsule is pretty thin.

i started carp fishing when i was 14yrs old at the time there was 3 of us that used to target carp on our local water, was the days of using cat food and when the hair rig first come to light, but brought the fox frontier xd and bits started going wrong with it so decided to sell that and just ordered this bivvy so Andy its your fault if its crap lmao joking, but enjoyed the video enough to have my arm twisted rgt up my back and ordering lool

Hi mate just watched the video Great vid, I was just wondering I have a frontier xd with inner capsule and I like to sleep length ways but my standard avid benchmark won't fit length ways,when you had your xd could you get your bedchaire length ways the t1 looks a little bit longer to me cheers

@@marklilly1877 thanks 👍 My bedchair is also standard size and it does fit lengthways but it kind of pokes out a bit, however it's in a manageable way and doesn't affect the water resistance of the bivvy at all. It pelted down for 14hrs a few weeks ago and even though the end of the bedchair was touching the outer skin there was zero water ingress. The dimensions of my chair are somewhere in the comments/replies .

@@carpergolfergaz29 unfortunately I can't find the dimensions of the previous model but I'm sure it's slightly bigger all round especially the height. The shape of it gives more useable space than the previous one.

Yes, mine came with the inner capsule installed and I've used it multiple times now with the capsule and I leave it in every time I pack it away.

The Pro version comes with an inner capsule. The standard versions come with an internal vapour shield and HD groundsheet. You can buy an HD groundsheet from Nash

Great bit of quality kit and I've just ordered a Nash Pro. It very much reminds my @HotTent_RBM_Outdoors which I love because it pops up in seconds like an umbrella. I use for fishing trips and when I go on holiday to do some ice fishing as it's got an trap door in the floor.

@@bgn8613 thanks, the camo is much better looking on the bank than the photos. The RS100 is a cracking bivvy but a lot smaller and much less headroom than the Titan. Both very nice bits of kit 👍

Tbh I'm a terrible fair weather angler these days so I didn't get to use it in properly cold conditions but with the inner capsule you won't get condensation even in winter as there's a decent gap gap between the inner and outer shell.

Good watch , with the peek being so high have you had any trouble in high winds with it ? Packing down do you fold the broken down arms into the boss then roll it up ?

I'll admit to being a fair weather angler these days 🤦♂️😂 I've had it up with strong winds blowing from behind the bivvy which was zero problem but not from the front yet. And yes, that's exactly how I put it away, plenty of space in the bag too so it's quite easy.

There is a groundsheet built into the capsule but it's quite thin so needs something heavy duty underneath if you fish swims with tree roots or stones. A heavy duty groundsheet is available to buy from Nash.

The chair is a Trakker levelite long back, best chair I've ever owned. The bedchair is a TF Gear flat 6 leg but it's just a normal size one.

Cheers 😊 I did around 8 nights in it in hot and wet weather and was happy with it in both. I really like the ventilation you can still have when it's raining. The material is different to the previous model, it's 20,000 hydrostatic head instead of 5,000 before. It's not too thick but feels tough enough and of decent quality.

The ground sheet and inner capsule are a single piece. There is a heavy duty groundsheet available from Nash as an extra.

I do mention that in the video but I was too far from the microphone so it's in the part where it sounds like I'm talking to myself 🤦♂️ The only problem is that currently you can't buy the internal vapour shield so condensation will become an issue during certain weather conditions. I'll be getting the heavy duty groundsheet anyway as the floor of the inner capsule is pretty thin and susceptible to damage from anything sharp.

did you have problems with the tension bar? I owned alot of Titans and have always been satisfied, but since this mesh solution in the new pro models instead of the clip for the tension bar i have alot of struggles. If i put it inside the mesh and try to clip the tension bar onto the poles it only goes with ALOT of force and the 'clips' at each end of the tension bar look very unhealthy out of shape. Definitly not how its supposed to be, i tried around for an hour in all ways i could think of, but i did not find a solution.

Do you struggle getting the poles apart when taking it down? I got a t1 pro and used it today tried taking it down and the poles were so difficult. Especially the two outer ones

I've spent 8 nights in mine now so it's been put up a few times now. So far I've only found the joints to be a bit reluctant once but with a use they're getting easier each time.

I brought one and the second pole from the right snapped clean off at the joint when I went to erect it, I had no resistance while fanning it out !!!!!, never had an issue with the Trakker or cyprinus bivvies I have had , I am gutted , owned it for 24 hours 😢

Definitely not what you expect from a piece of kit at that price. Hopefully the tackle shop you got it from will get that sorted as Nash customer service is pretty good at dealing with faulty gear.

I assume you have had it up and down a few times now, what is the realistic set up and pack down time with this? I’m talking from unzipping the bag to it being fully set up?

Due to work commitments it's only been used 3 times. Realistically for me and my dodgy back I reckon 5mins from bag to pegged out and front attached. If you do get one I'd recommend getting some quick release inserts for the storm poles as I've found them to be a bit fiddly.

What bedchair do you have, it looks like it’s more or less touching at both ends? Is it 210cm long? The extra height makes such a difference to useable space, technically a smaller footprint (2.76m wide x 2.28m deep) than a 100t (2.6m wide x 2.4m deep). Great video, thanks.

The only thing I can see that let’s this awesome bivvy down is the lack of magnetic mozzy mesh like trakker and solar do, I can’t believe something so functional and simple isn’t a standard thing.

Treat it the same as a smaller Titan, pull the block into your chest/tummy then pull the material up towards the block then spread the legs out. Today on the bank it took less than 4mins from opening the bag to the first peg going in.

@@Ben-tw2cq you're welcome. The standard T1 comes with a heavy duty groundsheet and internal vapour shield instead of the inner capsule. You can buy the heavy duty groundsheet but currently not the vapour shield, hopefully they'll make that available in the future.

Thanks for making this I was interested in maybe upgrading from the mrk2 but since I have the 100t as well probably won't. The extra zipped windows look useful being able to adjust them from the inside is clever in tight swims, but I can't say I ever felt I needed more head room in a titan. They are very dark inside and do stay cool because of that even on hot days. My favourite bivvy ❤

Hi, yes you can. It arrives with the inner capsule already installed. You can also just about pack it away with the front in-fill panel left in too as long as you unzip both sides of the door.

i suggest removing the capsule, it depends on if you only buy it for that feature or not. Without the capsule it weights alot less, the packdown and build up time for the tent is WAY easier and you dont have to scram it into the bag. I always had it installed in older models until a friend said, try it without, its another world. Highly recommend if you dont mind insects... after All, why'd u call yourself a fisherman when u buy a tent with a capsule to avoid nature? ;)
